Doing some research for my next 3D model (attempting to do reindeer again, and an equine, see previous blogs for background). Something occurred to me, an idea that maybe needs to be explored further.
Rumble and Thunderlane's parents are the adult Pegasi from Fantasia's Pastoral sequence. Mom's a pearly white with beady blue eyes, and dad is a pure black stallion with eyes as red as the inferno from which he sprang.

I know it's kinda short at just under 1,500 words, but it's a start! Really trying to get back into writing and finish some new content for you guys. It's a random comedy clopfic about Thunderlane with an elephant's trunk.

I gotta say I really love Thunderlane x Cloudchaser and Soarin x Spitfire. Those two shippings are the only shippings I really support in MLP, especially Thunderlane x Cloudchaser. Unfortunately, these character are all background characters, so there aren't exactly a lot of fanfics on these couples. Quite a shame.
Sometimes, when I'm bored, I like to read Big Mac x (female character) fanfics, since Big Mac is such a versatile shipping character.

That latest episode, Brotherhooves Social was good. And I can't believe how similar it was to my story! Granted, theirs is an improved version written by actual writers who know what the heck they're doing, and they were likely working on it before I was, but I feel proud for coming up with something like that.

Being a fan of the Applespike romance, the topic of Rarity's future always comes into question. I find that some of the best stories (for romance that is) have more than one pairing in the story, with the focus varying between main couples and sub/background pairings. This is simply to add depth to characters and ultimately makes it more enjoyable to read. As my brother said "there's more than one ship in a fleet"
