It was Collection Picture time on EqD recently. This time I built a book fort. It's not even all the books. I was afraid more books would cause the structure to collapse. I also have a lot more swag, but how to take a coherent picture? I gave up on achieving that years ago. I need more books.
Heyo, people!
Just want to give another shout-out of thanks to any and all that have read my new story, Tracing Back Roots. Also, just thanks to everyone who still checks out my stories after all these years I've been hanging around.
Check below for some awesome news and a picture of me in a bowtie!
What's going on, everyone?
So, I'm greeting you today just to kind of set the stage for what I'll be doing as far as writing goes for the near future. Once I finished Blonde Moments a few weeks ago, I kinda let myself chill out for a bit. I wrote a couple fluffy one-shots for the sake of fluffy one-shots, but that was it. Now, however, I'm ready to jump back in with a really big project.
Like, a massive one.
Well... sort of.
Hey there, everypony. Long time no blog. I wouldn't count the random 3am blog I posted the other night lol. This is my first official blog in several months.
I realize I've been gone for a long time. No blogs, no stories, and no PM's. And I've hated it. Working at Apple, dealing with family, and my own personal laziness.
So, I was just going through my Youtube channel today and I came across an old video I had completely forgotten about.
A ways back, a bro of mine, Cobolt Soundwave, interviewed me on a livestream. This was back, I think, when I had just released Crystal Affair and had gotten some attention from Heart Invasion 101. So yeah, a long ass time ago.
So in unrelated news, started a cushy new job doing what I actually enjoy and that's kept me pretty busy. It's an actual adult job, 9 to 5 and everything. I'm splitting time between writing and my 3D Printer project in the evening.
And now, the baited hook all 3 of you were waiting for!
I'm selling a bunch of my rare Bronycon shirts as I'm going through my enormous Pony T-shirt collection. I have over 100 shirts, so it's time to trim the surplus!
But the staff ones include some very rare 2012-2014 shirts, where only enough were made for staff. These never numbered more than a few dozen TOTAL. So for the collector who wants the whole of Bronycon history, there is little else from these early conventions!
Staff shirts:
2012-2015 SOLD
I have a website set up now to sell my First Printing book overstock while supplies last (I have a couple dozen to spare).
Price is $24 for US shipping, which includes tax and S&H. Contact me if you do not live in the country of arbitrary gun violence and I will get an updated price to you. (The price on Lulu for later editions will be $25 plus tax and shipping extra, and I can't sign copies from Lulu.)
Heyo, one and all!
So, first I want to send a thanks out to those of you who read my new story, Starlight and Spike Start the Morning Off Right. It was a fun little exercise, so I'm glad you guys enjoyed it.

I dont even know how to write them correctly so forgive me we bearly wright in school. We mostly do passages and im not complaining just... I need practice hope you understand...

Given Chance
Heyo! So, Mel and I went to Ponycon again this year. Those of you who've been following me for a bit might remember that this is our ten-year anniversary, so we had originally decided that this would be the year we'd finally treat ourselves and go to Bronycon in July (because the gift for ten years of marriage is totally ponies, right?) Unfortunately, the dates for Bronycon this year just happen to coincide with those of ConnectiCon, a big anime/sci-fi/videogame/you name it they got it
Quote from the Book of Swag:
"In his youth, infamous mafia head Swagsire was the leader of a notorious street gang which included: DMXatu, the Natu; Snoop Digg, the Rhydon; EmineMonkey, the Aipom; Eazy M, the Machamp; and Kanye North, the Teddiursa."
Disclaimer:
Holy shiznit, that was a wild weekend.
So, let me preface this by saying that I had never been to Bronycon before. I've been to a lot of other cons, but this was a brand new experience for me. Thousands of people, meeting online friends for this first time, getting in a moshpit at bronypalooza... this was an unforgettable experience.
Let's break this down, pictures and everything.
Finally... I've wrenched what strength I have from this illness wracked body and uploaded my con pics. I was actually VERY disappointed with my photography this year. I should have spent more time fiddling with the settings and finding better lighting. Almost everything is a little blurry, and I had to brighten alot of pics... BUT! I think they're still neat to see. I also show off some of the swag I got.
Get it after the jump!
I've been sorting through my mountains of Pony stuff (as we sort our attic... there were boxes of papers and crap in there from 1960.) and realized I have a LOT of duplicates. When I was too busy, I just grabbed when there was excess stuff to get rid of, and then shoved it all in plastic tubs and poster envelopes... it's only NOW that I actually have time to look at it!
BronyCon was great! I was able to meet a bunch of writer ponies I have always wanted to meet, even though in a few unfortunate cases I had only the chance to say "hi" and "bye".
I hosted a writers' party on Friday, and then everypony came back for a dead-dog on Sunday. It was fun (though it's a bit harder to have fun when you're the host). I also inflicted a lot of pony music on the carpool I rode with.
Now I am this:
I proudly present you a reading of a parody of Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven."
It's good to be back. Something a little sillier for y'all.
Some swearing; PG-13 but nothing inappropriate. Just SWAG.
