Post-BronyCon, Pre-Trotcon Report

BronyCon was great! I was able to meet a bunch of writer ponies I have always wanted to meet, even though in a few unfortunate cases I had only the chance to say "hi" and "bye".

I hosted a writers' party on Friday, and then everypony came back for a dead-dog on Sunday. It was fun (though it's a bit harder to have fun when you're the host). I also inflicted a lot of pony music on the carpool I rode with.

Now I am this:

I have two to three days to get over the con crud because Trotcon starts this weekend! Yay?

I thought about mentioning all the wonderful writers I met but I don't want to accidentally leave somepony out (or put them in if they don't want to be associated with me, which I always assume is true of everypony derp). But it was a couple dozen awesome ponies and you are all nice and amazing.

I got a lot out of the writing panels, and a surprising amount out of the first five minutes of the audio panel. I'm of the opinion that somepony should probably try to write some of this shit down for aspiring <blank>s.

Also apparently Rarity's voice actress seriously has an Applejack fetish, and Maud's voice actress is super-weird and neat in ways I can identify with.

Thanks to everypony who came to parties and/or said hi! Somepony left behind a conbook and a picture of Derpy drawn by Mordigant, so if that's you, please let me know so I can ship the stuff to you.

Now I will return to what I've been doing all day long: sleeping. Eventually I will start rewriting the chapter I lost over the weekend and will probably work on Ashes.

EDIT: I also dressed up like Pinkie for the gala. Pics later. Maybe stories too. Oh, and I picked up a datum which directly defends the thesis, "bunnies are cuddly".

I'm starting to feel better (hooves crossed). Just a bit more than one day with a sore throat and fatigue would be amazing, but I'm sure there's more around the corner.

Hope you feel better soon! While I was driving 12 hours home, I felt a little sick, and worse when I got home. I thought for sure I'd be out today, I guess I got lucky.
