What's going on, everyone?
So, I'm greeting you today just to kind of set the stage for what I'll be doing as far as writing goes for the near future. Once I finished Blonde Moments a few weeks ago, I kinda let myself chill out for a bit. I wrote a couple fluffy one-shots for the sake of fluffy one-shots, but that was it. Now, however, I'm ready to jump back in with a really big project.
Like, a massive one.
Well... sort of.
So, back in 2015, I had this really ambitious idea for a story about Spike going back in time and saving the world and all that jazz. It was called If Only I Had Time I had awesome cover art made for it, I collaborated with a Youtube brony musician by the name of Among the Herd to get a theme song for it. I had an editor lined up and all kinds of stuff. Point is, I was extremely passionate about that story.
Unfortunately, after I released the first two chapters (to good critical reception, mind you), I kind of fell of the fimfiction wagon. My life was going crazy and I left the site for a few months. When I got back, I had almost no drive to really do anything and had completely lost my way with that story. Therefore, it was left with just two chapters posted and nothing more.
A sad tale, no doubt.
Anyhow, since I've gotten back in the swing of things and finally finished up Blonde Moments, Ladies and Gentleman, I'm super proud to announce that I'm working on If Only I Had Time once more!
However, you'll notice the original is no longer on my account. I'm completely restructuring it and rewriting it from the ground up. I want this story to be as good as it can possibly be. It's really unlike anything I've ever written!
As opposed to my usual fare, this one features OC's, an Adventure tag, world-building, time-travel, magical villains and a bunch of other things I've only dabbled in before. I've gotten a lot more experience recently with writing different genres and things, so I feel I'm ready to approach this story with a fresh perspective and give you all something you can enjoy. That being said, I'll still work on one-shots and stuff here and there, but this story will end up being my primary focus during its duration.
I don't currently have a release date for the first chapters or anything, but I finished a massive outline for it as of last night and I'm beginning my writing today. It could be released as early as Monday or as late as next Thursday, I don't really know. But I can tell you it's gonna be awesome!
Anyway, I just wanted to keep you all in the loop. Keep rockin', alright?

I didn't read the old version of this fic, but it sounds like something I'll greatly enjoy. Definitely going to check it out when you release it.
