I meant to get around to this delightful treat several days ago, but due to the extenuating circumstances of being laid off from my job, my mind has been a little preoccupied. It's funny how one can be so hard at working their job only to find themselves suddenly working just as hard to work harder still.
But I digress.
It’s currently 1:30 AM in my area. I’m in this weird void where I cannot fall asleep because my mind’s moving a million mile per minutes, but also because I’m too tired to sleep. Sort of like that one lyrics from The Gambler, you know?
If I was spacey during school yesterday, they ain’t seen nothing yet. Dear God it’s going to be awful.
First off: I'M BACK! Woo! My time away was great but I'm also glad to be back.
SECOND: One of the best old ponyfics of ALL TIME has gone up to fimfiction: GO. GO AND GIVE IT LIKES AND PRAISE! It has a ten out of ten rating from me so much! LOAD IT WITH PRAISE.
It's rated M, but I think it doesn't have to be necessarily. It's being featured in LSB and it's still keeping the T rating.

I mean, come on, most of the people who read these things are here because of Songs of the Spheres. So I'm GUESSING you all might like stories of a somewhat similar nature.
Because my attempts to get any schoolwork done have been met with a brick wall, might as well throw all industrial motivations to the wind and do something completely pointless and fun at the same time! GM, who are the top ten best pones? you ask. I answer!
On this day, precisely one year ago, Songs of the Spheres was published on fimficiton. There wasn't much hubbub. The people who read it were generally the people who were part of its creation in some way or other. But slowly, we grew, larger and larger... And today, Songs of the Spheres can be said to be a success.
And we aren't even half done!

A bit late for this post! To be honest, I've had to spend a couple of days mentally and physically recharging. It's been a while, and that many people - and that many things to do - took a surprising amount out of me. Still, this is something that I wanted to make - and I've got other blog posts that I wanted to make after this one, so stay tuned.

We’re doing another Sombra’s Clipshow! There originally wasn’t going to be a second, but while I was going through editing SotS, two chapters in arc 7 needed to be consolidated into one because… the amount of exposition within them was really, really bad. So that left a hole in the plan. So I figured why not run another Sombra’s Clipshow? The last one went so well, let’s do it again! Except better!
Howdy folks! Well, I had a fun weekend. I ended up driving Thursday afternoon (managing to get to Portland at 3pm, just in time for the traffic to go to hell) and drove back Sunday evening (managing to hit a section of I-5 where they closed all but one lane at 10 PM, creating a huge traffic jam in the middle of nowhere), and had a total blast the whole time in-between.
So there I was, just casually going to Fimfictions front page and then...
Finally. Almost a year after it begun... Songs of the Spheres has made it to the front page. Ah, yessssssssssssssssssssssssssss[insert more S as required]ssss.
Welp, I'm just elated and felt like sharing. Woop woop, the success train is on a roll as of late!
So, I'd love to share my day's experiences, but I'm not sure if I have it in me to do it right now. Or, more accurately, I'm not sure if I want to stay up until 5 am writing a blog post - today was VERY active and VERY busy (and fun! I met so many people!).
But just wanted to share one final thing that happened at the end of the day.
So, Aragón has officially entered the workforce -- kinda!
I mean, technically it's an internship... But let's be honest. I get up at seven every morning, put on a suit [1] and then work at the bank doing market research for eight hours. That counts as a job. Cut me some slack, I'm still a lil' kid.
Hello ladles and gentlespoons! I wrote a fic! Missed me? I missed you all!
Does this mean I'm so back? We'll see. Lots of real-life stuff going on right now for me, but I'm still here, and I still have more stories to tell.
Also, pro tip, don't work for Kroger (even just on a temporary basis), folks, it saps the life out of you. Lessons learned, yo.
