Hey folks. Just letting everyone know my writing and release schedule for this month and going forward into the new year. For things like this, I really wish I could tag a post to multiple stories.
Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm going to try to release a new chapter of Unleash the Magic - Nightmare Night in time for Christmas, as a gift to readers. I'm not sure how feasible that is with only six days to go, but I'm going to try. It may slip a day or two simply for being the holidays, and if so, apologies.
Or such is the plan. After struggling with it for several weeks around other writing projects, it now stands at just short of 6000 words after I finally got some momentum on it and figured out what I'm going to do with it.
A milestone I'm very happy to reach, some three-plus years after its initial publication. 
In some ways, it's paradoxical--TLaTU is easily my most unpopular story in terms of like/dislike ratio, yet also my most commented-on one, not counting Turnabout Storm which wasn't originally mine. I daresay it's also my most ambitious and accomplished for bringing the impossible ship to life believably.
Within the next few days, most likely, and we will follow up with a second one soon. As we're at a proper point for it, these will be interlude chapters, telling the backstory of two future Bolt Knights, one directly and one indirectly. Who, you may ask...?
Folks, I really have to apologize for my lack of new content and being out of contact over Skype. I have just not been a happy camper these past few weeks, and I'm simply not finding the energy to write or be social with. So what's going on? Work, primarily. Hey folks--I’m sorry for the delay in getting this teaser out. I know I promised yesterday, but work has been very unpleasant of late, with me in no less than ten hours of meetings over the past two days and really sapping my energy and time to work on this. As work proceeds on Firefly book 2, I am also working towards a new TLaTU chapter release. Part 33 currently stands at just north of 6000 words, and I have an eye on publishing it this weekend, most likely Sunday. What kind of chapter will it be? A mixture of sexytimes and summer fun involving the Fairgrounds, a Ferris Wheel, and some evening music. All prereads are in. Will publish chapter 32 tonight or tomorrow morning. Just need to write the author’s notes and get some musical selections added. As promised, the focus comes back to our favorite couple, and like all ending chapters will be quite adult.

Well, it's been 10 days since The Lawyer and The Unicorn (T-rated version) was released, and the response to it has been extremely tepid at best. To this point, in fact, it's underperformed even my low expectations, garnering less than six comments and an even worse upvote-to-downvote ratio than TLaTU-M. I wasn't expecting a blockbuster performance by a T-rated rerelease of an already-completed M-rated story, but I also didn't think that readers would be so few.

Hey, folks. After eighteen months of hemming and hawing about it, I'm finally doing the promised updates and major editing pass to The Lawyer and The Unicorn. The early chapters especially need the latter as I read some of the stuff I wrote back then and wince. No more violet unicorns, more showing and less telling, and fewer ellipses, which I had tendency to severely overuse back then.
Been one hell of a month for TLaTU, folks, with five chapters released. Now that we've completed the trial, what's left for the final few story chapters is setting the stage for the eventual sequel, and some simple if surprising funtimes--oh yes, some major and very sexy surprises in store! 
Be afraid, folks... those of you who read Unleash the Magic know how far I'm willing to go, and there *might* be such a scene to come...

First, a general update: I did indeed have my eye surgery last Friday, and like Fell Flight, though my vision was temporarily worsened and the double-vision not entirely corrected afterwards, it's been getting steadily better as time passes and the swelling goes down. A week on, I'm pleased to report my double-vision was almost entirely eliminated and what's left of it is close enough that my mind and/or eye muscles can compensate. Make that two stories completed this year, and TLaTU will be number three as I'm restarting work on it and intend to push it through to completion, alternating chapters with Rise of Firefly. TLaTU has been submitted for review, by the way, at the Reviewer's Cafe group, and was moved to "In Review" status yesterday. Should be interesting
The T-Rated version of The Lawyer and The Unicorn has been released. Nine chapters are now posted, and I plan to release one new chapter a day from here on out.
Welcome new readers! After a painfully slow initial climb, Before the Storm: The Rise of Firefly hit the featured list the last two chapter releases and a slew of new likes, tracks and faves was the result. I'm gratified to see the story gaining traction now, and though it certainly had a rough start as I've had to go back in and make some major fixes to earlier chapters, I'm very happy with it now. This has been my favorite story to work on of late, and I actually wrote the last chapter
