Make that two stories completed this year, and TLaTU will be number three as I'm restarting work on it and intend to push it through to completion, alternating chapters with Rise of Firefly. TLaTU has been submitted for review, by the way, at the Reviewer's Cafe group, and was moved to "In Review" status yesterday. Should be interesting to see how well it does though I don't have high hopes given the dislike the ship tends to garner.
Speaking of reviews, Five Star Service was reviewed and approved for inclusion with an 8/10 rating by the Reviewer's Cafe a couple weeks ago but I haven't announced it or linked the review because I've got major issues with it. I have given the reviewer a private rebuttal and he has promised a second, 'private' review of unknown content. When things are hashed out with him regarding the points of contention I'll link it, but for now I think anyone reading his original review would come away with a bad impression and be less likely to read the story, not more.
As for when the next TLaTU chapter will be ready, probably a week or two. It'll take me a bit of time to get back in the swing of it, as always happens when I'm shifting back to a story I haven't worked on in a bit. Any hints of content? Expect a surprise cameo or two...
Surprise Cameo is now a pony who works on movie sets and always seems to find a way to screw up and be in the background of shots.
