I've decided to write a Holiday themed one-shot. I already have Christmas/Hearts Warming shipping but I was thinking of doing a New Years one-shot. What ships do you guys want to see? I've decided to challenge myself, so you cannot pick AppleDash! Even though I love the ship, I just want to try out another ship!

So, I've spoken to my initial artist, Shelbythehdgehog, and I've decided to give her one more week to finish the artwork. Instead of tomorrow, Closer Than the Rest will be released on Monday the following week.

Today was the last day of One Shot-tober. It was a hell of a ride and so very much worth it. I may end up doing it again next year. 31 stories published, a few were older ones that got refurbished or polished up, but most of them were new.

It's been a while, so time for a one-shot challenge! I demand story seeds, which I will try to make happen in one chapter and not be super awkward about it.

What's the worst that could happen?

Allowable themes: Almost anything. Look at my existing stories to see how varied I can be.

Would you guys be interested in seeing one-shots of the aftermath of the main storyline? I like the universe and as much as I try to branch away, I kinda want to write more of it. I'm getting back into writing.

Finally got this out.

Damn, this grew WELL beyond what I envisioned it being, and for the most part, the ride was enjoyable. Though to be fair, there were about several scenes that I DIDN'T write, that I feel would have made this story even better.

I hope everyone's doing good and enjoying life as we roll towards the holidays. This year I am attempting to do One Shot-tober. The idea is to post a story every day of this month. Some of them may be stories I've been working on for a while, while some like—Envoys of Hope—will be done in one day.
