HI HELLO, it's me! Back again writing horse words!
I've just released a new one-shot fic featuring our favorite filly princess duo! Check out this fun, light-hearted mystery story as I warm up to resume work on Into the Light!
Where have I been?
Nothing special to report here! Just same-old same-old. Working on other projects, dealing with the busy time of year at work, and overall juggling other IRL surprises.
I will say, though,that I've had a bit of an epiphany about writing. One I should have had a long time ago. I'm supposed to ENJOY writing, not stress about it. It's national novel writing month, and I tried to do the 50k words writing challenge again with one of my original stories... Only for me to slow to a crawl after a few days. But as soon as I was reminded about Into the Light... Well my excitement came right back and I pumped this little fic out! The reinforces the philosophy I set out to follow with my pony fics, and that is to keep them fun and relaxing. I still hold myself to very high standards, but there's much less pressure in a story as freeform as ITL.
Thank you all so much for your continued support. I've got a renewed energy for project work and horse words is definitely among those projects! I will be working on new chapters for ITL shortly, so I hope you all will continue to support me! I read all your comments and it gives me so much joy seeing people get excited and think about where my stories are going.
