The news with me (and my excuse) is that I graduated, finally! Got my BS degree! So now I've got more time to write. Thank you very much for your patience!
And then I watched Buckball Season, The Fault In Our Cutie Marks, Viva Los Pegasus, and Every Little Thing She Does.
I'm gonna be headed to a retreat later, and I won't be allowed to bring my phone
I won't be back until some time Sunday.

I'm mostly saying this because one time I left for a week and everyone thought I'd killed myself, so I wanna avoid that this time and every time I go somewhere I can't use my phone/laptop for longer than a few hours.

Okay, so this is a thing that I figured I'd do because why not. I'm not a reviewer, but I'm a reader and a writer, so I thought I'd give a try and write a commentary/review on a story when I'm not working on my own. Because reasons. Because I can.
So there we have it, a new chapter posted after almost a year away.
Man, it feels good to be back.
But I just uploaded a new chapter for Trials, and while I enjoyed my foray into original fiction and will write more, I do love my Sunset and want to at the very least finish out this story. I do so hope that you all forgive me for being absent for so long.
In other news, Splatoon 3 is pretty awesome, even if Team Grub took third place in the recent splatfest.
I didn't mean to abandon anything after I said I would come back, but I'm really, really busy right now. My sister's seven (almost eight) months pregnant with my niece and we're planning her baby shower right now for November, so that's one thing. Two, I'm working on a whole bunch of new story projects and I completely forgot about the website again, my bad. Three, I'm turning sixteen in two months, so I'm trying to be good so I can get the gifts I always wanted for Christmas and my birthday.
Almost 10k. (Around 9400-9500 words due to discrepancies in the word counter and the listed actual words) so I was close to my guess on word count.
Also I guess it's Bastille Day in France so happy that.
So, harkening back to my last Blog Post. I’ve came up with a name for my first story pitch, I’m calling it The Stories We’ve Lost and it’s probably gonna have to take place in the future. I’ve also been toying around with the idea of making the female lead a lesbian, but that was more for my own amusement in my several ramblings to myself. Fair warning for anyone looking for story updates here: there aren't any. My life and my muse have only just started to cooperate with me again as of yesterday. No, this is just some good old fashioned stream-of-consciousness rambling, befitting of the time and place I've spent a good three or so hours paddling through.
Shorter chapter but it's almost like Chapter 12 part 2 since it happens on the same day. So plot progress? Yes, but like minimal. This is the angst chapter. Full of angst and sad. And clingy relationships.
Some of you may have heard of an event that happened here in Alaska. This event occurred on November 30. The event I am talking about was a large earthquake. Listed as a 7.0 magnitude earthquake, it happened only seven miles out of Anchorage, and it was the largest one I've faced in the years I've lived here. I've lived in Anchorage since 2012 or 2013. This was baffling to me. Almost everything I had in my room was off its shelves, save for a handful of things.
Due to all of the bullshit that has come out about Toon Kritic (If you are not aware of his open pedophile I have made an ever blog post detailing it and my very angry opinions on the matter) and the open laziness from the entire community to do nothing more than sweep all of this bullshit under the rug and move on as if nothing had happen, and then being angry when the public continues to rip them to shreds for doing so.
I legitimately do have the rest of the series of reasons why life can be pretty cool at times sketched out, planned out, have pictures for them and everything.
Right, so, Octavia's Painting was a story I wrote a short while back before the new year was in, and I was thinking about the way in which I first released it. I'm not going to resubmit the story, but I was reluctant in concluding that it might be better off in different chapters. All of the chapters are done and the first one is released, but I think I'm only going to release them per week. It seems easier and less daunting than reading through one chapter that almost tops the 40K mark
You know, a show like Friendship is Magic isn't the sort of thing I usually go for. I don't watch cartoons very much in general, and even when I do, it's usually something like King of the Hill. The pony show is colorful, sometimes childish, family friendly, girly, and very often just feels lighter and softer. I've always been into gritty science fiction, cyberpunk. dieselpunk... I've never cared much for fantasy stories or stuff about magic, or even for superheroes all that much. But... but

Sorry for the huge wait for chapter 14. I had a lot of horrible stuff to deal with in a very short span of time, and since it's still going on, I'm finding it very hard to find time to write. As such, I'm reluctantly jumping back to monthly schedules, since the alternative would be a six month hiatus and no one wants that.
Also, Enchanted Library is one year old this month!
