Some of you may have heard of an event that happened here in Alaska. This event occurred on November 30. The event I am talking about was a large earthquake. Listed as a 7.0 magnitude earthquake, it happened only seven miles out of Anchorage, and it was the largest one I've faced in the years I've lived here. I've lived in Anchorage since 2012 or 2013. This was baffling to me. Almost everything I had in my room was off its shelves, save for a handful of things.
Microphones, boxes from old electronics / microphones, old game guides, movie cases, etc. are all strewn about the floor of my recording closet. I plan to let the aftershocks go through their course before I begin putting it all back together. Now, all I have to do is wait and hope it all goes somewhat smoothly.
