A few minutes ago, I realized what really bothers me about TimberLight...
[Scene opens on a room within the Castle of Friendship, in particular on Incarlsistency and Sam-Listens-To-Carl's-Problems. Both are seated in crystal chairs with their eyes going wonky and hollow while they drool from one corner of their mouths. Pan over slightly to reveal Spike already cleaning up the mess they're making and Twilight Sparkle blowing off her horn. She suddenly perks up to the camera and turns to it.]
The Humane Five, Sunset and Sci-Twi all get Elements of Harmony
Midnight Sparkle has less screen time than Godzilla in the reboot
That's all you really need to know
Better late then never, I always say! Spoiler warning for those who want to keep it secret!
Maybe I'll run into one of you dorks there. If you're lucky, you can buy a doughnut from me behind the dumpster.
.... I actually liked it.
Pinkie Pie was especially great.
ADULT SUPERVISION!!!
What was with the ending though?!?!
Took me ten hours from the courtesy shuttle to weather delays to midair delays to fishhooking my way through Newark Penn Station through walking through my front door, but I made it home from Everfree Northwest. Expect a post-con blog and FiCG: Frenemies soon, and an overdue Group Precipitation update a few minutes ago.

EFNW is back on for in-person events! And now that I live in Oregon (long story I'll blog about later), I can actually attend! Just signed up, registration is hella cheap compared to a lot of other cons I've seen. In case you hadn't heard about it, you can check the site here.
Holy crap. I'm a finalist for Everfree Northwest's Scribblefest.
My story that made it to the finals.
Proof that I'm not just messing with you.
Kinda funny, considering I wanted to write the story as a holiday fic (like I did with 'Heima' and 'A Jagged Gorgeous Winter'). Well, yay me.
I got a friend to help me edit it so it reads better.
Would you look at that? Another convention! Time flies when you're waiting for conventions.
I will be in charge of the Electronic Gaming Room again. We are open 24 hours and I will be in there for 80% of the convention. Come and say hi to me. I'll be wearing the staff shirt as well as my punk vest. It'll be hard to miss me.
Say hi, chat with me, play a game of Smash, whatever. I had fun running into folks at Babs, so why not?
My immediate reactions while watching. Warning: Spoilers ahead
Is it just me or does the animation during the intro song look really cheap? I guess the other intro song animations were heavily stylized too, but at least they showcased the characters. The bus looks static and boring. The song itself sounds good, though.
Sunlight shipping fuel at 5:56.
“Gonna be nice gettin' away from that kinda stuff.” Oh Applejack, why must you tempt fate?
Before I get started, know that I have watched this movie three times prior to writing this review. Also, if you've not watched the movie for yourself, be aware that this contains major spoilers. You've been warned.
Hey, guys!
So I'm putting the finishing edits on the next chapter of Into the Dark, and I finally remembered to make a blog post about the fact that I'm planning to attend Everfree Northwest this year, May 12-14. I'm hoping to meet some new and familiar names and faces, and I'm currently looking to see who might be looking to share a room, as hotels are looking a bit on the expensive side.
Well tomorrow I will be departing for Everfree Northwest! I have been wanting to attend a pony convention for nearly a decade and now it is finally going to happen. Perhaps I will run across some of you. When I signed up, they asked for both my real name and my pony name, which I'm assuming will be put on my badge....so if you see a bald guy or a guy in a Colorado Avalanche hat with the name StormLuna on the badge, that will be me.
I'm at Everfree Northwest! I'll be here for the whole convention. Should be a good time, and I'm hoping to run into other writers while I'm here!
The Divine Bacon Goddess has a new movie. Let's talk about it!
Don't worry...I've got this.
Well, here we are, in the days of EQG #4, and I can find out how well my trepidations played out. By which I mean, what's the pattern? Are odd-numbered movies good and even-numbered movies bad? Was Rainbow Rocks a fluke, with the presence of two less-than-stellar movies giving the odds at a bad movie 2-to-1?
Well, I can't actually answer that question properly. But I can at least say I enjoyed LoE. :)
AKA Sunset Is Awesome Part 3.
And no, this probably won't be out for a bit. At the very least, until Season 6 wraps up on the 22nd. I know they haven't announced a physical release yet, but I know not everyone has Netflix (although I'd be willing to bet more fans have it than Discovery Kids).
