A few minutes ago, I realized what really bothers me about TimberLight...

To be fair, we don't know how old Timber and Gloriosa are.
For all we know, Timber could be in his early 20's.

4255707 Seeing as Twilight's probably 16-17, that's kinda bad.

Well, given that this is a world running parallel to Equestria, there's a very good chance that there's a Crystal Lake out there somewhere. They probably dodged a bullet by just having to deal with a mad dryad. I'm not sure how well the power of friendship stands up against Jason.

4255711 Hi guys. The point's about a mile back. You just missed it. :rainbowwild:

4255716 Now I'm picturing Sunset Shimmer with a giant glowing rainbow machete.

I personally think that Gloriosa is about in her mid-20's and Timber is 18 tops.

4255716 4255720 This must happen... Also, is there an extra crispy Janitor in an ugly sweater somewhere?

The power of friendship? Probably not very well. Super strength, super speed, telekinesis, explosions, and diamond-shaped barriers, on the other hand...

There's nothing stating he wants to buck her though. From what I observed it's more of a romantic crush much like Flash has for Princess Twilight.

And I'm now waiting for you to write an Equestria Girls/Friday the 13th crossover where Jason is specifically targeting Sunset because she's the one who somehow always winds up naked at some point in your stories.

...and somehow her mind reading magic plays a role.

4255824 Holy shit. If Moth doesn't write this, SOMEONE does :rainbowlaugh:

4255829 Maybe one of my Patreon supporters will commission it next month. :raritywink:

You're with your baby, and you're parked alone
On a summer's night, you're deep in love
But you're deeper in the woods
You think you're doing all right.

(I'd post an actual video of Jason in action to the song, but I don't think this site would allow it due them all being filled with graphic violence and nudity and all)

You know, everyone brings up minimum age requirements when talking about this. I've never seen anyone bring up the fact that a summer camp needs more than two staff members to function!

Raise your hand if you read those tweets from top to botton the first time around :facehoof:/

4256012 People who bring up minimum age requirements period are proving that "but THE LAW!" or "but MY PASTOR SAYS!" has become more important than...well, anything. Including common sense. Newsflash, 16yos and 17yos have sex. Double newsflash: sometimes they do it with 20yos. Double double newsflash: that doesn't make the 20yos creepy predators or pedophiles, it makes them humans who did a human thing with another consenting human.

Rant over.

(And, again, none of this was ever the point of this post in the first place. :P)

Oh, I'm aware. I just felt the need to share that, and it's not like I post anywhere else regularly. :twilightsheepish:

Funny. I never thought of that.

It bugs me because he's just so... Aggressive? Persistent? Yeah. He's so persistent about it. That'd wierd me the fuck out.

Here's what pisses me off abut this dude:

When I learned it was Gloriosa who was behind all the magical happenings at camp, I came to a realization:

During the entire movie, Timber KNEW that his sister was the one behind all the magical happenings at camp, and instead of actually doing something to stop her (it's clear that talking to her wasn't getting anywhere), he pretty much does nothing about it, except come up with the Gaia Everfree story to cover up for her. I have NO idea what the point of that is. It's not like it was gonna make things any better. Intentionally or not, that's pretty much him enabling Gloriosa to keep using magic. It's also kinda tone deaf how the CHS students could be in serious danger yet he passes off that danger as a literal campfire story.

So yeah, he pretty much knew Gloriosa was doing something crazy dangerous, using power she obviously didn't understand, and pretty much did nothing to help. Worst of all, for some reason, he thinks hooking up with a girl he barely knows is a better use of his time in what should be a very urgent situation.

Also, anyone else notice how he gets a buttload of screentime together with Twilight yet he never actually "connects" with anything going on with her? Instead of being of some use to help her sort out her problems, he's just there to give Twilight a break from her moping. And since in the end it's her friends who make her feel better and let go of her issues, Timber is pretty much useless. He's the character equivalent of a safety blanket.

Even putting age aside, somehow the movie doesn't think it's creepy that a counselor has the hots for one of his guests/clients.

If Jason does show up I hope Timber would be his first victim, and hopefully only before the Humane 7 drive him off. Jason vs Gaea Everfree: who do you think would win?
