Two years ago today I made this account, not really expecting much, just wanted to write shippy things and share my work. Still can't wrap my head around the fact that 100 people saw my silly stories and thought 'yeah I want to see more of this person,' and followed me.

So sorry about he final chapter of A Hearth's Warming Carol. I honestly procrastinated far too long on it, and I suddenly didn't have it done with too much else on my plate. It'll be up in the next couple days!
I'll be starting a couple other stories soon. My plan is to have alternating updates between them, so individual stories may seem to be a bit slow--unless my brain decides to hyperfocus on one story in particular for a little bit.
Still a bit sick, but doing much better.
Even so, found this in my Youtube feed earlier today. Seems we have one last song of the year making a big enough splash in the community for covers and the like!
Have to admit? Real little ear worm. Quite fitting for the subject matter.
Another year under the shadow of COVID-19. Another year in which the politics of fear, anger and division continued its onslaught on common decency and civilized behavior in political discourse, as well as its attack on the very foundations of democracy and the institutions that protect us all from charlatans, demagogues and the ugly, slippery slope that leads to fascism, and worse.
It would be easy under the circumstances to succumb to pessimism, cynicism and nihilism.
Another year over, another new year to take its place. Hard to believe it's been over a decade at this point that I've been on the site. G4 has come and gone, G5 is coming into its own. Who knows what another half decade might bring if I'm still active on this site? Dare I risk the tempetation of being on the site for another ten?
I wish you all a happy holiday season, regardless of what you celebrate or with whom. This time of year can be difficult for many, exhausting for some, and yet happy if you let it be. Please be there for those who need it and let go of the petty things that get in the way. There is plenty of happiness out there for everyone if we just focus on what we have and cherish it. Good morning my angels!
First of all I want to start off by saying: Happy New Year! 
With the dreadful 2017 coming to a close, finally, I am ready to look forwards and move on with my life after what could only be described as a shit way to end the year.
So what's the plan here on Fimfiction? The plan is to write. And I mean write a lot.
Been a good year and i hope for more god events to come.

hopefully i’l get stories done thati promsie myself i’ll make. looked over blogs and yeah i made promises I forgot to actually get around too.
I'm looking to do better with some things in 2020. One of them is writing. I didn't write hardly anything last year, which makes it kind of hard to say I'm a writer when I never write.
I'm not making grandiose statements or getting super-granular with this, but I do have one major goal: publish 1 story per month during 2020. More is better, obviously, but I want at least 1,000 words of horse fiction published on this site per month.
Well everyone, Merry Christmas. I hope you all had a good day, however you chose to spend it.
It's been a good day. Busy, but good - between church in the morning, and then preparing for my aunt's visit later today, plus of course presents and other such activities, it's been a pretty active time for me. But still, I'm quite happy with how the day has gone. 
And, if you will excuse the bragging, I'd like to share some of what I got this year:
First of all, hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Now, 2018 has already begun, and probably there's someone wondering "where the hell were you all through 2017?" or "Why there hasn't been updates in a year?" Well... It's a really long story that can be summarized in: 2017 was a rough year to me.
2023 is over and done, and 2024 is now here. I've already said I'm not looking forward to it, and I'm already seeing signs that 2024 is gonna be a drag to get through. I'm prepared for the worst at this point. Maybe it'll somehow end up like 2022 and turn out good by the end, but I'm not holding my breath. G5 is basically all but done, "Tell Your Tale" cannot sustain it for more than a year before the audience grows bored and moves on to the next flashy thing. I wish I could just skip to 2025
Another year without humanity blowing itself up nice! Also I like to apologise for not getting the second chapter of T:HL up before the New Year but hopefully I’ll be getting alot more chapters out before this new year is done.
Anyways enjoy the New Years Eve everypony!

I've been fairly inactive when it comes to posting stories lately, mostly because I've been spending the Holidays with friends and family. I hope you've all been well!
I've gotten a few requests for some stories, which I will be working on at some point in the future. I still have some other stories cooking in my unpublished list, and I aim to get those done first.
