As of late last night, I managed to break the two hundred follower benchmark! I'm so grateful for all of your support And I hope you'll all continue to read and enjoy my stories. I plan to be releasing my next one in time for Halloween, as it is a Nightmare Night story. I've also got a few other story ideas in my head running around, so we'll have to see where that leads me.
I just want to take a moment to thank my new patrons on Patreon.
I'm totally blown away by how generous they've been -- to the point where my first goal was met on the very first day: now that they're giving more than $10 per 10k words, I'm committed to writing at least an hour a day, no matter what. It's gonna be interesting.
Dear Bronies and Pegasisters,
Okay now, let's see what's going on today.
(Sees resent story on feature page and the 500 followers.)
Holy Hell!
I uh... wow... It happened again. With the story only just beginning and it's currently still up there. Not only that, but I now have reached half a thousand followers.
Songs of the Spheres now has one million words.
And we're only half done with the story. THE WORDCOUNT TRAIN AIN'T GONNA STOP ANYTIME SOON!
I wonder if this makes it long enough to be put in a group or something. Hmm.
Anyway, thanks for all the support and avid reading! Here's to another million words!
-GM, master of woohoo.
I'm excited! Almost 100 people give a shizzle about what I do here! Any way I can get to that triple-digit mark today?
Thank you readers of Gryphon Six for getting my first ever published story over the 1k benchmark. I can't tell you what this means to me. It seems like yesterday I was publishing the very first chapter, and still fretting over every spelling mistake and grammatical error. To Gryphon Six, the success of future Fallout games, and many more chapters.
Hello everypony. How have y'all been doing? In all honesty, things have been pretty complicated/stressful/frustrating here on my end for more reasons than one. However, I'm writing this post to let y'all know about a major milestone we've accomplished: The Needs Of The Many, my first entry in the Guardian Of Equestria Saga, has, just today, reached 100 upvotes. I can't begin to express how much this means to me, having a story I wrote about 7 years ago just for the heck of it reaching such
¡I have 66 followers!
The title is a reference to Star Wars Episode # Ⅲ: Revenge of the Sith, which is 1 of the best Star Wars Movies, unlike Swino (Star Wars In Name Only), also known as the Farce Awakens which is the worst Star Wars Movie.
Chancellor Sheev Palpatine (Darth Sidious) gave Order # 66 to the Clone-Troupers who then immediately started killing the Jedi.
That's right.
FA updated again.
It's officially my longest story now.
What madness have I unleashed?
July 3 was indeed my 30 birthday, as some of you guessed from the in hindsight rather disjointed blog I found funny after 8 hours of hard labor in glaring sunlight followed by a cake induced sugar-high.
Boy, there are a lot of milestones to look for this time. The latter two aren't much to elaborate on--but they're still things I never thought I'd get to in one of my stories. I owe it all to your support and the way it keeps me pushing for better and better things!
This coming July, The Lost Element will turn 10 years old. And before this abominable year can end, I want to take a moment to clarify some things and address some issues with all of you in a bit of a heart to heart. Because by now, some things need to be said.
I do want to make clear right now that regardless of what I say next, I sincerely appreciate the support of everyone who enjoys my work. I write for my readers more than I write for myself. But that said, I must begin.
Despite all the crap going on, I have managed to get some time and brain focus together enough to make significant progress on my current story project. I've just completed the last of the work needed on my four subplots, with roughly 20,000 words worth of notes and scenes for each, give or take (one is a a few thousand words shorter, and one is a few thousand longer, so overall they more or less reach my 80,000 word target).
With an enigmatic title like that, you just have to click “Read More”, don’t you?!
Just a "thank you" from me personally. This is a big milestone for me, as you could imagine.
I really don't have anything planned for 50, mostly 'cause I'd never thought I'd get 10, so I've been caught quite off-guard.
