¡Execute Order # 66! · 9:08pm Jan 14th, 2016

¡I have 66 followers!

The title is a reference to Star Wars Episode # Ⅲ: Revenge of the Sith, which is 1 of the best Star Wars Movies, unlike Swino (Star Wars In Name Only), also known as the Farce Awakens which is the worst Star Wars Movie.

Chancellor Sheev Palpatine (Darth Sidious) gave Order # 66 to the Clone-Troupers who then immediately started killing the Jedi.

Revenge Of The Sith is the best movie of the 2000s

3686354 The Prequel Trilogy gets alot of undeserved hate

Indeed. Lucas added all of special effects he could not add to Original Trilogy because of time, budget, or technology available at the time to the Phantom Menace. Unfortunately, all of this clutter obscures the plot. I recommend the Phantom Menace. For all those who could not follow the plot, and I do not blame you because I needed to watch the Phantom Edit for getting this, this is the plot minus the distraction of the Phantom Menace:

Senator Sheev Palpatine (Darth Sidious) of Naboo wants to become Chancellor as the next step of his rise to total power. He needs a vote of no confidence agaist Chancellor Valorum for removing him from power to do so. He encourages the Trade-Federation to illegally blockade Naboo by promising wealth and power to the Trade-Federation. Then, he convinces the Trade-Federation to invade Naboo. The Coupe de Grace would be his apprentice Darth Maul murdering Queen Amidala and framing the Trade-Federation. The outrage in the Senate over the regicide would lead to the ousting of Chancellor Valorum. The 1st thing Chancellor Sheev Palpatine would do is dispatch the Navy of the Republic to Naboo and destroy the fleet of the Trade-Federation.

No plan survives contact with the enemy.

2 Jedi rescue the Queen and go to Tatooine and Coruscant. Darth Maul follows with the intent of killing the Queen and Framing the Trade-Federation.

On Coruscant, Senator Sheev Paplatine improvises and allows Queen Amidala to address the Senate.

The Queen returns to Naboo, with Darth Maul perusing.

The Senate ousts Valorum and makes Sheev Palpatine Chancellor, thus making all subsequent events on Naboo irrelevant.

That is the plot of the Phantom Menace.

Lucas learned his lesson and showed restraint with the special effects on the other 2 prequels; they are as good as movies in the Original Trilogy. Hipsters still hate them because it is the cool thing to do:

Hipsters hate the other 2 prequels because it is the in-thing to do. When pressed, they site the dialogue of Skywalker and Senatrix Amidala, They are suppose to by 19 and 24 in Attack and 22 and 27 in Revenge. It seems to me that their dialogue is appropriate for their ages.

Let us suppose that they would have spoken like Romeo and Juliet. ¿Would the hipsters be happy? ¡No!:

¡The hipsters would complain that real ponies in their late teens and 20s do not talk like that!

¡Hipsters! ⸘Am I right‽

3686520 I actually understood the plot of The Phantom Menace from the very fist time I saw it in the movie theaters in 1999

The 1st time Jar Jar Binks distracted me. I knew that Senator Palpatine is Emperor Palpatine, but it was not until a rewatch that I gote Plan A versus Improvised Plan B:

Plan A:
After the Trade-Federation Illegally Blockades, Invades, and then apparent regicide, Palpatine becomes Chancellor.

Improvised Plan B:
After the Trade-Federation Illegally Blockades, Invades, the Queen addresses the Senate and Palpatine becomes Chancellor.

All of the clutter caused me to belive that Plan B was the original plan. It was not until rewatching that I figured out that Darth Maul was supposed to murder the Queen while she is in the custody of the Trade-Federation and frame them for regicide.

3687800 Either way Senator Palpatine becomes Supreme Chancellor

3687810

Darth Sidious is both great at planning and improvising:

Without a good plan, one cannot get anywither. No plan survives contact with the enemy, so one needs to be able to improvise. To the Hipsters hating the Prequels because it is the in-thing, I say, just watch Sheev Palpatine in the 3 Prequels.

3687826 Emperor Palpatine was a better planner than any of those idiots from the First Order

3688682

True, but ¿who is not a better planner than they?

Darth Sidious, worked on a plan for years, it would take a generation to accomplish. Contact with the enemy derailed it many times, but saved it using improvisation. The Jedi Order searched for Sith-Lords during this time, but did not suspect anything, Darth Sidious being in the Jedi Temple, before the Jedi Council on numerous occasions. Darth Sidious is the most successful Sith-Lord in history. The only thing he did not possess was the secret for immortality and creating life, such as the virgin-birth of the Chosen One, his Master Darth Plagueis The Wise took to his grave when his Apprentice, Darth Sidious murdered him in his sleep.

3689392 Anybody can be a better planner than the First Order. Darth Sidious managed to hide his true nature from the Jedi for many years.

368940

Indeed. Darth Sidious is the titular Phantom Menace of the Prequels. The Jedi did not know about the true nature of Sheev Palpatine until it was too late. In the time of the Revenge of the Sith, only 2 Jedi could have slain Darth Sidious in a duel; Mace Windu and Anakin Skywalker (Yoda was past his prime and barely escaped with his life after dueling against Darth Sidious).
