Sorry about taking so long, but I'm working now. Updates are going to be slower because of that. I have started working on the next chapter, but I'm not too far in. I have a week off starting Wednesday, so I'm going to be writing starting then. Work makes me lose my determination to write, and I don't want to write when I'm not inspired. I want to be excited about the events taking place in each chapter, not just writing to fit a deadline.

You'll forgive me for my ignorance, but... what's the big deal? I know being in the featured box is a big deal, but is it mandatory for people who were in the featured box or popular stories sidebar to put that in the descriptions of their stories? Or is it more of a celebratory thing for the author? I'm just so confused. I see fics that say "Featured: 9 Oct 14" and my only thought is "That was years ago, why should I care?"
