I'm actually partway through one long journey and another, so currently I'm trying and failing at recuperating between flights. But! I got some exciting news over the weekend, which means it's time for me to share some background information with you guys.

Been working a lot recently. Was pretty hardcore into Classic WoW (got to 30 in the first few days) before I had to take a break and start working. Still writing things, they're just slow going... Hello everypony it is now time for the next voting contest to begin. If you remember correctly from last time, I will commission an artist to bring the winning choice to life. All you have to do is head over to the link below and vote. The choices for the contest contain scenes from my new fic Twilily Saga: Journey To Heartwarming. Each scene will have a character(Both OC and non) from my story confront the main villain, Indigo Frost, ancient wendigo.
So... About a week and a half ago, I submitted my first chapter to an MLP fic on this site: the tentative title of 'My Little Advents' though if I figure out a better name for it (or someone suggests something) it will likely be changed. The universe including this fic will likely still stay as The Adventverse unless something changes. Right now it's just me writing my stories and to anyone watching/following/faving me and my only fic so far, welcome! A good chunk of my fics will be crossovers
A major part of worldbuilding is sports and games. Taking something familiar and changing it slightly has multiple uses. It creates verisimilitude by showing that your fictional world still has and plays games. It creates a slight disconnect from the audience, because they can recognize that the mechanics are similar, yet not identical (a smaller version of the Uncanny Valley, if you will).
