Sunny and Hitch learn that a dragon named Spike was responsible for sending Sparky's egg to Maretime Bay. They and their friends then seek out Spike to try to get some answers about what happened to Equestria and Princess Twilight.
(Takes place after "Have You Seen This Dragon?") Sunny has a talk with Hitch about his brief masquerade as a superhero while trying to find Sparky. Hitch, in turn, shares with Sunny the inspiration that made him want to become sheriff.
Princess Skystar wants to join her cousin Silverstream at the School of Friendship after feeling like her mother doesn’t spend enough time with her. Unfortunately, Queen Novo still has some negative feelings towards Twilight that she has to sort out…
(A sequel to "Rainbow Dash and the Daring Do Connection".) Rainbow Dash invites Daring Do to spend Hearth's Warming with her parents. That presents a problem when Daring and Windy haven't kept in touch in years.
Sprout doesn't really care for the holiday of Winter Wishday, and voices his displeasure openly. Little does he know that his friends are opting to stage an intervention. Or that one night he shall be visited by some unusual guests.

(Based on a fan comic.) Sprout runs away from Maretime Bay and makes an unusual "friend". Said friend convinces Sprout to turn on his other friends. When things look bleak for Sunny and the gang, some unexpected faces show up to help.
