When Twilight learns that Trixie is asking for a rematch, she frets trying to find something to boost her magical power. Pinkie Pie knows of a prize in a competition that can do the job, but alas, it is a competition only for earth ponies. Or is it...?

Big Macintosh will be working the fields all day, giving Applejack plenty of time to prepare for his birthday party. Pinkie has a special surprise planned, and Derpy made muffins!

A simple and silly story, written to celebrate my own big brother's birthday.

Caramel has had feelings for Applejack ever since their chance encounter in Manehattan. By bizarre happenstance, Caramel arrives at Sweet Apple Acres. Years later, his feelings are still strong, and it isn't until after some encouragement from Mac that spurs Caramel to make his move.

A certain pony also has Big Macintosh's heart. This one is the hyperactive and random Pinkie Pie.

After some convicing from his sister Applejack and Granny, Smith Big Macintosh decides to take a day off from working in the fields.

He goes to Sugarcube Corner where he unintentionally attracts the attention of a certain pink pony, and Applejack finds out.

Now the pink party pony must find a way to prove her affections for Ponyvillie's mare magnet, who isn't even aware of a crush.

Big Mac is injured while bucking apples and seeks the help of the wise zebra Zecora, but then comes down with a sickness for which there is only one cure.

Zecora, the zebra shamaness has lived in the Everfree Forest for some time, but has never gone beyond except for the sake of finding roots and herbs for her potions that her woods cannot supply. But upon making friends with young Apple Bloom and later Twilight and her companions, she has taken it upon herself to travel beyond for a time. Stopping at Sweet Apple Acres for a minute to speak with Applejack, she catches the eye of Macintosh. The stallion falls for Zecora at first sight and then does something very poorly thought out to prove himself to her...
