A mysterious viral outbreak grips Equestria, threatening the very life of the country. In an effort to stop the infection, Princess Celestia orders all individual settlements within Equestria to be quarantined. Join Luna, Twilight ,Trixie and the rest of the expeditionary force as they journey across uncharted territory, unravel the mystery of the falling star and discover a threat far worse than the destruction of harmony.

AUTHORS NOTE: Be aware that the shipping in this story could be classified as light-shipping or friend-shipping. I left the shipping tag out initially, but since the relationships between the characters are a big part of the story I felt compelled to add it. Also, a new summary is in the works, one that best shows the reader what to expect in this crazy fanfic.

Metal Gear has fallen into the hooves of an Equestrian revolutionary, who, with the backing of his human mercenary allies, intends to use it to depose Celestia and crown himself ruler. Having crossed into Equestria in pursuit of this rogue weapon, the legendary Solid Snake must ally with the residents of Ponyville to prevent a nuclear catastrophe.

Set in the far future after Celestia and Luna mysteriously vanished and the sun and moon froze in the sky, Antipodes is the story of two ponies thrust out into the harsh new world on an adventure to uncover what happened to the world so long ago.

(I wrote this when I was 17. it's pretty rough in places, but i think the basic ideas i had here were pretty cool. it's got a good skeleton)
