"So what if I haven't?" Rarity replied, growing defensive. "Work happens to be very relaxing for many ponies, myself included. It keeps body and mind occupied, and holds troublesome thoughts and feelings at bay!"
It's the sixth anniversary of Pony Gear Solid, or as near to it as we'll get without the original Google documents. You know what that means...!
"Interluna" was what I called this one in my head.
I don't usually do document blogs for interludes (I don't even submit them to EqD, to be honest), or if I do, I include them in documents for full-length chapters. This one, I decided to elaborate on a little bit.
Posting it in the middle of the week seems to have caused it to fly under the radar, but I wanted it out on Metal Gear's 30th, so... to hell with common sense, right?
Also, it's really long, so...
Per usual, I'll have a Document up after it's posted to EqD. I have a few other things coming in the near future, too, so stay tuned.
Just then, Doctor Whoove came running by.
"GREAT WHICKERING STALLIONS," he yelled.
And then Posh killed himself.
"Why did I ever set a precedent for this by making a Slice of Life reference a major part of the plot?" were his dying words.
"Nopony will think less of you if you choose not to stay and fight. Honestly, I wouldn't blame you. But I promise you this: I'm not going anywhere. Whether alone, or with you all at my back, I'll stand and fight for Ponyville."

I'm prompted to complete and post this Document for 15, because 16 is completed and awaiting revision. 
How long it'll take, exactly, is unclear; it depends on how Editor Man finds the draft, and how heavily it needs to be rewritten to make up for my general incompetence. I'll spend the meantime working on a few other things, among them, 17.
You do? You, right there? Well, of course you do! Think of it as my way of apologizing for yanking your chain last week with that totally not made up PGS blurb.
This offers little in the way of spoilers, or even substantial content; it’s just a short little bit of a scene that captures a quiet moment between Cherry Jubilee and a DualShock controller look, just read it and find out if you’re interested.
"Snake, I can't believe you! I leave you alone for fifteen minutes, and when I peek in on you, Rainbow's a scientologist, Cherry Jubilee is doing unspeakable things with a vibrating DualShock control pad, and to top it all off, the library basement is flooded with apple crunk juice! What do you have to say for yourself?!"
"We've managed to avoid drowning?"
"...Just get over here and kiss me already."

I'm still writing the Document blog for chapter fifteen, but I thought I'd mention, for anyone who actually cared to read it, that I updated the character sheet. It's now up to date as of fifteen (meaning it contains spoilers for the entire story), with new entries for important characters introduced in the previous chapter.
Including the POV character for 15's final scene.
To perhaps nobody's surprise, chapter sixteen of Pony Gear Solid was actually an April Fools Day prank. The real chapter sixteen is still in the offing, but I hope the bit that Editor Man and I cooked up for you at least offered some entertainment. It seems to have gone over better than the chapter I did for his story.
After completing the Dodge arc, I sat down and thought hard about where this story needed to go. I considered the reception that Dodge received, being a hard left turn away from everybody's expectations, and decided that veering off into another completely unforeseen direction would be the best possible thing I could do for Pony Gear Solid.
In case you missed it, PGS updated just the other day, with content that's somewhere between snoozefest and awkward waking dream where you stumble around your house searching for the cornfield that J.J. the Jetplane helped you plant, only to end up holding a conversation about the Battle of Lexington with your very confused dog.
On an unrelated note, I haven't been sleeping well for the last few nights. 
It's the grand finale of the Solid Snake and Twilight Sparkle Show! Part... three? Three and four? To be honest, even though they're numbered 13 and 14, I think of both chapters together as separate parts of 13, but as has been pointed out to me, having nearly 40k words divided across two documents does qualify as two chapters. So... part three and four of the Solid Snake and Twilight Sparkle show.
A few things to cover before we get started:
Full write-up is forthcoming. But for now, know that 15 is outlined and underway, and it will not take me another six months to get it done.
For those of you interested, I've updated the character sheet to reflect the recent chapter(s). Spoilers abound, so if you haven't gotten through 13 and 14 yet, you might want to hold off.
