Scootaloo often goes down into the fields of Ponyville to watch the one and only Rainbow Dash defy physics and gravity with her dangerous stunts that wow even the most talented of pegasi. However, a chance encounter with Ponyville's mailmare leads Scootaloo to confront issues long held in her heart.

No one expects to go to sleep and never wake up. There's always tomorrow, or the next day. There was always time. So, when a young life is extinguished before its time, it becomes especially difficult to handle. When the spirit of that life is forced to face and accept her death, what will become of her afterlife? Scootaloo will soon be faced with this tragedy, and this is her story.

Rainbow Dash is very well aware that Scootaloo is her Number One Fan. That doesn't mean she has to like it. While she enjoys the attention and encouragement she gets from the little filly and her other fans, she isn't too fond of actually dealing with them. It's nothing personal.

But after she overhears Scootaloo being bullied by some of her classmates about her flying ability, Rainbow Dash decides that perhaps it's time her Number One Fan got some encouragement of her own.

We have all lost something or someone special in our lives. Some move on faster than others, and some never move on, as their life comes to a stand still. Could you smile at such loss, and continue smiling through your life, knowing that the special someone was gone forever?
