The Friendship Games are over, and the new Twilight has officially joined the group. Sunset and her friends have helped to make Twilight's transition to CHS smoother: Inviting her to band practices, arranging for her to have a lab just like at her old school, and teaching her about the foreign concept of friendship.

Lately, Twilight has been asking Sunset for assistance with some of her experiments. Sunset is more than happy to oblige her new friend, but starts to notice Twilight paying more attention to her than anyone else in their circle.

Were these just experiments… or were they for something else entirely?

However, it turns out that she is greeted by a very tired, worn out, and obviously sick Sunset Shimmer. Twilight mentions having found a book at the Canterlot High library and Sunset asks Twilight to read to her.
