Dash: "We need a temporary leader while Twilight's at the Crystal Empire-!"

Applejack: "But we're all votin' for ourselves-"

Rarity: "And we need you to break the tie!"

Pinkie: "Yeah!"

Fluttershy: "Um, if that's okay? I don't really want to be leader-"

Dash: "Oh please! You just brought us to your coltfriend so he'd vote for you!"

Fluttershy: "N-No I didn't!"

Rarity: "Please, as if Shepherd would be that predictable! I'm sure he'll recognize my obvious leadership ability!"

Applejack: "Please! Ah'm the most mature, level headed-"

Pinkie: "Boooorrrriiinnnng! I'm the best leader! I make cupcakes for everypony! And everyone!"

Dash: "WHY ARE WE HAVING THIS DEBATE?! I'm the MOST AWESOME!"

*Shepherd sighs, and pulls out his revolver. He fires it off into the air, silencing the debate*

Shepherd: "Now that I have your attention... The fact none of you can come to a consensus or build a consensus means none of you should be the leader. So until then, I'm the leader."

Dash: "Wha-You can't do that!"

Shepherd: "Sorry, I was unaware that Equestria was a democracy. I have the guns, I make the rules. There are several governments like that on my planet, and some of them last for months! Which is long enough until Twilight returns."

Applejack: "Hmph! Well fine... What is your first order, Leader?"

Shepherd: "Belly rubs for everypony!"

Pinkie: "YAY!"

Fluttershy: "Um, y-yay..."

Applejack: "Well... Ah'm all right with this."

Rarity: "As am I! For now..."

Dash: "Ugh, fine. But I want the best belly rub you can give me, got it?!"

Shepherd: "Of course!"
