The BronyCon '19 Post · 7:43pm Aug 23rd, 2019
Took awhile, but here we go.
I, as always, had an absolute blast, even more so due to, well, the f*cking insane generosity and love of this batshit crazy fanbase.
Anyone who'd desire that to change is quite frankly insane. I do love you all, truly.
Seeing as I am absolute garbage at recalling everything that happened, I'll instead just relate the most memorable moments that truly stuck out to me.
And away we go!
- The Writer's Dinner. This. Just... This.
- Frist44's "dance club" vendor booth that was across from Ruirik's booth.
- The traditional Historical Ships tour with me, Ruirik, 24th, SolidFire, Captain Unstoppable, and totallynotabrony (who became our impromptu psudo tour guide).
- The Bookstore and the line(s) that followed it. I admit I used my magical Merchant Fuck You pass to get at Pen's books, plus a few others before the insanity started. #NOSHAME
- Meeting forbloodysummer and NaiadSagalotaOar and for's magnificently made cosplay of Spitfire. He's a blog about it. It's quite fascinating.
- The Writer's Dinner again. This one's from the egg on my face from an inadvertent prank.
- Every last interaction with Monochromatic.
- The Writer's Dinner, yes, again. This one was from the magnificent RDJ lookalike AKA Wanderer D taking me by the neck, literally, to introduce me to the just as magnificent ObabScribbler.
- Calling attention from Somber to get a friend's (Solidfire) posters signed.
- That really weird "black shirt" party I found myself at.
- Leaving said party to act as unofficial judge in a impromptu feghoot-off between AppleJinx and ROBCakeran53. Winner by a mile was Jinx due to a phone toss. No I am not joking about that.
-Horizon's drunken tarot reading he did for me.
- Seeing old and new faces once again.
And finally... The Book.
I said I'd get signatures, and damnit, did I ever get them. So many of you happily embraced the yearbook idea when I asked and my book from the Bookstore is positively filled with names and words of wit.
I daresay it's now the "Crown Jewel" of my pony collection, right up there with the signed Princess Celestia shadowbox.
I did have a great time and, from what I could see, so did everyone who went there.
Do I feel sad that BC is over and done with? Yeah. BC was basically the easiest MLP Con I could get to with my current life style. Do I intend to go to Babs or EFNW or Trotcon? You bet your ass I do, it'll just be really really hard to accomplish.
Also, would you all like to see what's in the book? It'd take some effort, but I could make an imgur album of it, if there's interest.

I'm so glad you had a good time! It was such a delight talking to you, both the first meeting and then I think the one other time we chatted in Quills and Sofas. The book thing was a really sweet idea--though it did make me wish I'd practiced a signature ahead of time, because I expect the one I gave you looks awful
I hope you manage to get out to other pony cons, when this one was such a success for you
Wait, how is meeting kkat not a highlight!? I'm so jealous!!!
Great seeing you. Glad you had such a blast!

You know that wasn't kkat, right?
Anyway, dude it was a pleasure to see you, as always!

Actually, 5110454 is referring to the inadvertent prank.

Got to say, Skeeter, being able to share that moment with you made it soooo much better.
And it would've been the same if Rob's excellent (and strangely meta!) feghoot had prevailed (with its very deep and intense speechless facepalm, I might add).
But I am a bad, bad pony, and you're a witness

It was awesome and an honor to finally meet you in person after all these years seeing your name lurking (hehe) so frequently around this site. Thanks a ton for that video. I remember hearing that quote at the fanfiction panel Saturday night and I missed it because it was close to the end of the panel and I had literally stopped recording about 10 seconds before he said that. I adopt his same position on that: I'll be here on this site basically forever.
Lastly I think I'm trying for EFNW next year as from talking to a couple of its attendees apparently they are sort of moving into Bronycon's spot next year by occurring around the same time and also booking a bigger venue in anticipation of some folks coming over from Bronycon.

It was great meeting you, bro!
Wow XD
It was a delight finding out that you are in person as you are on this website. :)
Meeting you, signing the book and chatting with you the day after about writing things was an absolute delight, and a definite highlight Thanks for the costume love!
As Naiad said, the book was a wonderful idea, I'm glad someone thought of it and I'm glad it was you.
I remember not seeing you on Thursday and being sad that maybe you weren't coming. Wouldn't have been right without you. And then you were there the next day and it was all good!
I’m glad I got a chance to meet you potentially one last time. Keep bein’ chill, dude.
For the record, I totally wasn't going to suplex you through a table in revenge for all the Loss memes.
I was planning on suplexing you through a daki, for extra humiliation.
Revenge is a dish best served with a suggestive Braeburn pose
Great meeting you too. :D
