    It's late

But my brain isn't quiet. I'm stoned out of my goddamn gourd. Don't worry, it is just my usual regimen of drugs. That's how I spent a lot of my time now. Wasted. Doesn't really help with the pain much, but makes it a bit more tolerable. All of my drugs cost over 5 grand a month. That's what it takes to keep me going. I'm in somewhat better shape because of all of it, and there's a few bright

    Cyborgification is potentially a-go

Finally found a doctor that didn't run screaming upon seeing my spine images and xrays. The team is coming together. Met with the neurosurgeon the other day, and he thinks I am an ideal candidate for augmentation. The transition is happening, I think. I still have to pass a psych evaluation and other steps, but I am closer now than ever. First I'll have the trial run; they'll sink electrodes into

I suppose it is time for an update

Been meaning to this, and I've become the King of Pro-Crasty Nation. I kept wanting to report, but there was nothing to report, no good news at all, so I just... didn't. Sorry. Went a bit silent on my end. It just sorta happened.

I finally got a lawyer willing to take up my case. After that, things started happening.

Because there is so much fear and loathing about Trixie Lulamoon and Lemon Hearts in Princess Twilight Sparkle's School For Fantastic Foals · 2:46am Nov 16th, 2016

Honestly, the incoming flood of worried, frantic, and even pissed off messages pouring into my inbox has started to become annoying. I get that people are freaking out and I understand that a lot of people are carrying a torch for both sides of the issue. I had a reader rage-quit over the idea that Trixie might not be gay after all of the build-up. And that's fine. People are allowed to act like jackasses if they can't have their way, but I really wish that people wouldn't take it out on me.

Not everything is answered right away and I understand that people are anxious. But sending rude, mean shit to the author is just uncool. CHILL THE FUCK OUT, MMMKAY? :flutterrage:

Okay. Here is the situation. For those of you that need resolution now, for whatever reason, you can have it. If you feel entitled, if you think that you absolutely have to know how this pans out before you can keep reading this story, fine. For people that like the suspense, for people who like build up, don't read the following spoiler. Just don't. I would avoid the comments section too, (of this blog post) as there is bound to be some discussion or people freaking the fuck out right in the open. Shit happens, okay? I just ask that people be respectful. I'm trying to treat this with kid gloves and in no way do I actually want to offend people. I'd like to keep my readers and my followers, okay? But sometimes, y'all make things difficult. I can't make everybody happy.

Turn back now. Abandon all hope all ye who enter here.

In the next story, Princess Twilight Sparkle's School For Fantastic Foals: Winter Break, Trixie will reveal to Sumac during a grown-up talk that she isn't gay. Now calm the fuck down and keep reading. She will reveal that she isn't straight either. She will admit that she loves Lemon Hearts and that she loves emotional intimacy, but she has no desire for the physical aspect of love, because she suspects that she is asexual. She also plans to continue her relationship with Lemon Hearts. The Great and Powerful Trixie likes Great and Powerful Snuggles and Great and Powerful Spooning. And yes, Twinkleshine will be a part of this as she figures out her own sexuality with Lemon's help.

There. Ya happy? Bookmark this friggin' blog people, and save me some grief. If somebody starts whining in the comments section or freaking out, point them here. I don't want this turning into a flame war, or a debacle, or a huge bloody argument. Seriously, people need to calm the fuck down before this shit spills out into the open and people's feelings get hurt.

That is all. Thank you for reading.

I am really sorry that you feel that way and I am sorry that you disagree with the choice for alternate sexuality.

meh I'll but my trust in you as the writer. not going to break the story for me. and i agree with you Chill the fuck out people.

Kudu

Do I need to get some of my "special toys" and have a "frank exchange of views" in person with some rectal haberdashers on your behalf?

Wait. Wait!

You can bookmark blogs?

4304305

No, because this doesn't need to escalate. People just need to calm down about views different than their own.

4304309

You can bookmark any page.

Can I think nasty thoughts about the mean people but keep it to myself?

[Edit: for clarification, I mean the author abuse, not the Trixie/Lemon/Twinkle thing.]

4304312

Sure. Because, why not?

I don't know... Trixie actually seems to be pretty happy. What, are there plans to completely break her spirit so she can never feel pretty, and witty, and gay again? :trollestia:

Just write what you want and keep everyone in character as you see them.

Thanks again for all you do. Reading the latest from 'Princess Twilight Sparkle's School For Fantastic Foals', and the Weedverse in general, are among the reasons I keep refreshing my feed so often.

So people with alternate sexuality are mentally ill. Gotcha.

4304311 Oh, you meant in the browser. I thought you were referring to a FimFiction function that would let you save blog posts to a folder for easy reference. That's a shame.

4304330 Please prove it is a mental illness. Genetics could of course never be a determination of what makes an individual unique, be it in their intellectual level or their sexuality.

I'm not going to weigh in on one side or the other; I just want to communicate that I have been endlessly entertained by your stories, and wish to see them continued to completion. The proper completion that the author envisions and has envisioned, that is.

I've grown rather fond of Chekov's Seemingly Forgotten Plot Point.

Yes, and we once believed that homosexuality was mental illness and the only cure was a lobotomy. Thankfully, we've come quite a ways since those dark days. Sadly, in many places, many people still believe this.

And that's pretty much all I've got to say on the matter. At the moment, I have a very, very low threshold for bigotry.

4304330
Regarding the different sexual preferences (which have absolutely nothing to do with mental illness) there are 4 different preferences. Heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual and asexual.

Just because being asexual is not that common (in comparison with the first three) doesn't make it a mental illness.

I am an asexual man (to a point), yes I love women but that doesn't mean that I am sexually attracted to them, the reason why I like women is because I find it easier for me to relate with them than with men. I can estimate that Trixie like Lemon Hearts the same way I like women, she has absolutely no trouble nor problems when it comes to speaking to Lemon Hearfs about her problems because she trusts her completely.

4304355

You. Yes, you...

Thank you.

I took Human Sexuality in college and plenty of psyche classes.

You are dealing with an outdated and poorly informed source.

And, you're done here.

Kudzu, readers...
Tolerance is a two-way street.

Readers, if you don't like the story, don't read it.
You guys aren't the ones writing the stories, and even if you're a Patreon, that doesn't give you absolute control over the writing process.

Kudzu, if you want people to stop getting upset, then stop writing about such controversial topics.
You keep "blaring the horn" about these kinds of things, and then complain about the attention you receive.

For all the psyche classes you claim to have attended, I think it's safe to say you understand the definition of insanity. Of course, we're all crazy to be on this site in the first place, given the pastel-colored, cartoon horses and such.

And just because I can, and again I say I love the tolerance here; all of you complaining about how your gay rights are being trampled or how "enlightened" and/or "outdated" someone else is or whatever...
You wouldn't even be alive to complain about such things if it weren't for heterosexuality.

Unless I'm talking to a bunch of petri dishes or test tubes, you all came from a heterosexual relationship.

Bite the hand that feeds you, indeed.

Short version, you've all lit fires under each other and are complaining about the heat.
There are no winners in that situation.

4304402

I shouldn't be forced into writing 'safe' topics, as those are a trap. Even those grow offensive over time if people, readers, the very people who populate my Patreon, feel that their own interests are being ignored. People want, and are entitled to, variety.

4304405
The point still stands.

4304408

The only safe stance is to write nothing.

Some jackasses. I ain't touching that spoiler bar.
and hasn't this happened before, several times. You say one thing and people just get set off for a complete shit reason.

4304411
Exactly, so if you don't like the smell of hot ink, get off the typewriter.
:trixieshiftright:

4304417

I fling electrons at you, Sir!

Thank you for warning those of us who want a surprise to avoid the spoilers. Honestly, I think one can make a change in sexuality if the right person comes along. Love often has a list of desired traits and can settle for not having all of them, and if someone hits enough of the qualifiers, gender can be a lesser issue that can be overcome. This is speaking from my own personal experience. I'm waiting to see if Trixie takes a similar route, discovers she's a closet bi, or if things fall apart in the romance department and the ensuing aftermath. All the angry individuals need to take a chill pill.

PS. Please do not respond with spoilers to this comment. I'm only gonna look at a response if it's from Kudz so I also apologize if someone else has something constructive to add and I ignore it.

4304419
I don't need such primitive atomic reactions, I can perform miracles with my zero-point replicator.

oooookaaaaay...... people get worked up over the weirdest things man. abolsutely weirdest things.
........ least they are passionate? shrugs?

Nope...no spoilers for me, thank you very much. I´m loving the Trixie/Lemon relationship build up. It´s like to watch a GOOD soap opera.

...I mean, if there is something like that, a good soap opera. I´m from Brasil, we are REALLY into it and, in the gold old days there were some very good works, with huge political parody and comedy. Nowadays it´s all about sex, being gay, cliche villains, there is no plot at all...but I diverse...

Anyway, what I mean is that I´m loving the suspense..I´m loving to the point of cheering up for then ! So, just keep the build up...and thanks you for covering the spoilers...

(will not read spoiler, will not read spoiler, will not read spoiler, will not read spoiler)
For Faust sake fillies and colts, have some faith in your author, the tail(*sic) he weaves is a long one and may have a few matted hairs that need untangling, so keep your curry combs on standby and we'll have a shiny smooth story waving in the breeze eventually!
So cork your plots:twilightoops: and buckle down for adventure.:pinkiehappy::rainbowdetermined2:

Yeah, this programmed entitlement and need for instant gratification is one of the main causes of problems in today's world. People! YOU CAN'T ALWAYS HAVE YOUR WAY, SO CHILL THE FUCK OUT! A lot of these so called protests (technically riots) are a result if this mentality. You have a right to protest. You have a right to pecably assemble. You do NOT have a right to unreasonably disrupt people's lives and cause property damage and harm to other people! And all this burning and defacing of the flag? There are laws against that and USA flag burners need to be locked up! Grow up and find somethig important to do!

Now that twist sure is... Ace!

As an ace gal myself, I'm looking forwards to this. I have confidence you'll tackle it well.

Kudzu, readers...
Tolerance is a two-way street.
Readers, if you don't like the story, don't read it.
You guys aren't the ones writing the stories, and even if you're a Patreon, that doesn't give you absolute control over the writing process.

Kudzu, if (1)you want people to stop getting upset(1), then stop writing about such controversial topics. You keep (2)"blaring the horn(2)" about these kinds of things, and then (3)complain about the attention you receive(3). For all the psyche classes you claim to have attended, (4)I think it's safe to say you understand the definition of insanity(4). Of course, we're all crazy to be on this site in the first place, given the pastel-colored, cartoon horses and such.

(1) Kudzu doesn't want to upset anyone, Kudzu is an author and authors write. It all depends on who reads the story, not on the author who wrote the story. I've red 120 days of Blueblood, Salty Licks, Yellow Diamond among other stories here, and even though those stories have very hard subjects (pedophilia, rape, water sports, drug addictions etc) I've not seen the author complain about the attention (wanted or not) the story receives. Those three authors (Brony Stories, Barealot, Cocknie Thug respectively) understand and comprehend that the stories they are writing are going to ruffle a lot of feathers, but just like in comedy, being an author tends to make you (the author) feel like an opinion.

(2) not exactly, what those who've sent PMs to kudzuhaiku (I presume) that they aren't complaining, but whining. If I am going to "complain" to someone I tend to do it this way: first, I make it painfully obvious to what I am complaining about (I don't say: "I feel offended/insulted regarding what you wrote" and not state the reason(s) why). Second, I do give or take 30 minutes of research so I can get the facts that I need to make a valid and concrete point. Third have a polite discussion with the author (if possible) to express my opinion and the reasons behind it as to why I feel offended. I would never ever write "I feel offended, you disgusting piece of anal cancer, die"

(3) the main problem with readers now a days is that, some of them, don't have a thick skin when it comes to delicate subjects like sexuality (in this case). I am not saying "don't feel anything and never feel offended/insulted". On the contrary, we as readers on this public webpage must state our opinions on what we read, but we must do it in a civilized manner. Because when people (or in some cases, authors) reply with blatant stupidity or ignorance, then it has deteriorated from a civilized discussion to an outright "no, you are wrong" exchange.

(4) unless you are making a reference to the definition of insanity according to Einstein, then yes I do agree that I suppose Kudzu knows that, but Kudzu doesn't do the same thing over and over again expecting the same to happen. Kudzu writes stories because it's a positive and harmless way to express one self on what they feel at the moment (or in some cases during episodes of their lives).

And just because I can, and again I say I love the tolerance here; all of you complaining about how your gay rights are being trampled or how "enlightened" and/or "outdated" someone else is or whatever...
You wouldn't even be alive to complain about such things if it weren't for heterosexuality.

Short version, you've all (1)lit fires under each other(1) and are complaining about the heat.
There are no winners in that situation.

(1) here's the thing okay, they used me as fuel, but they never lit the flame, because I am puts sunglasses to hot to handle

because she suspects that she is asexual
finally someone acknowledges our existence!

I have complained at length with kudzu on a seperate issue before because I found something offensive, this is not an offensive issue though. Whether or not Trixie is gay and her future relationship with Lemon Hearts is not an offensive issue or one to be deeply troubled over. Yeah your fan cannon's and hopes might turn out how you want and frankly that is fine and good.

If there were actualy things to be feel offended about then it would be worth complaining about. But this is just a relationship that may or may not be going the way readers want. This isn't about people having thick skin or soft skin this is about people who can't accept the way a plot point is going despite there being nothing offensive about that plot point.

So people complaining about this need to hush. There is nothing to be upset about here. Kudzu has not said anything to detract from gay relationships or gone into any sort of controversal topic or even worded anything in a way that could be considered derogatory. He has just left the door open to two characters perhaps not working out because one isn't even sure of her own sexuality and there is nothing wrong with that.

4304402 I don't want to argue with you what so ever. I just want to throw out that it is the duty of writers to create stories that are engaging and real. All writing looks at an aspect of humanity and forces the reader to examine it. Sexuality, politics, the issues of the moment and far-reaching ones. It is good that writing makes us examine stances and take stock of what we feel and believe. To do less is a waste.

That said, there's a difference between disagreeing with a topic and turning it into a war in the comments. Nobody needs to get so angry that they quit the story, but if they feel that strongly then perhaps it is best that they walk away and take stock of their feelings on the matter. Introspection does wonders.

With that in mind, people too often attack the writer for challenging their beliefs or values or presenting values different from theirs. To critique the story harshly is one thing. To insult the writer is another.

So basically exactly what I said.

Good to know.
