Well, another deployment adventure is over. I landed a few hours ago in North Carolina, where I'll be spending a day or two doing some outprocessing. Then it's home for two weeks of R&R.
I'll post more at some point. Right now I'm so tired it's all I can do to type legibly. Thank you to everyone who wrote something supportive while I was gone. Every little bit helps.

I'm actually stuck in a hotel doing some paperwork and gear turn-in at this particular base. As such there's not much for me to do (I won't really be home for a few more days, but at least I'm back in the country).
