Well, it's that time again!
This is the format for submitting OCs for A Dragon's Journey: think of this as a community-built story. Pretty much each and every one will be accepted, though there are a few stipulations.
-No sapient wolves (bipedal wolf-like creatures are fine) or any other four-legged predator (this includes lions, though lynx are an exception)
-No draconequus
-No humans
-No alicorns
-No gods/deities
-No robots/cyborgs/anything like that
Other than that, go crazy with the species. If there's one you can think of that you don't think anyone else has, go right ahead! If someone's thought of it, then use it as well!

Thunder uses dual hand and a half swords that can be connected at the end of the flat hilts to form a double bladed sword. He wears a set of enchanted steel plate armor that is articulated perfectly so there is no mobility limitation, covered by a worn leather duster.
Edit: If I may, I would like to day a few things about Thunder. His mother was a unicorn from Trottingham, giving him his trotish accent, but his father was a gold dragon from a far land who had the ability to shapeshift, a ability Thunder shares to an extent. Thunder is colored entirely gold, even his irises. He never knew his father, which is one of the reasons he wanders.

Magic Type: She uses magic but is limited to combat spells only. She has basic abilities in healing spells in case of a serious battle injury.
Colouring: Aquamarine Body, Teal Underbelly and slightly tom boyish look.
Appearance: She wears A Long Deep Blue and Gold Trimmed cloak over Cobalt coloured steel Armour with spikes on the sides of the arms and front of the shins she wields 2 daggers on either hip and A Broadsword strapped to her back In a Deep Blue Leather Harness.

Age: I imagine her to be around Twilight's age? Possibly closer to Spike's though.
Personality: A Sparkling sense of humour and innocence but fierce in battle, loyal to the point of death and thinks herself a rival to anyone else who uses magic of any kind. She is very world-wise and knows much in the art of stealth and swordplay. She Often Quips about other people in defence of herself or to defuse situations and enjoys talking.
She has also been recruited as a mercenary many times and has seen plenty of fights and death.
Backstory: She was raised in the Gekido Household after being abandoned by her parents after she hatched/was born and was found in the aftermath of a clan war between the Gekido's and the Sakkaku's families. The Gekido's saw great potential in her and brought her into their family as a daughter they never had. She has been abroad since she was about 10 and has learned a great many things about the world. She earned herself the title The Lightning Bladed Assassin when she assassinated a very important politician on his way Zistril (A city from another story) to negotiate a treaty with the Minotaur’s with so much electricity in her daggers that when she stabbed him he literally disintegrated. Her Surrogate Family were all killed when the Sakkaku's launched an attack as revenge for their defeat when Raijin was just a little girl.
Fun Facts: I made her up to be a possible partner to a character from another story on a request from the author for OC's.

Species: Unicorn
Magic type: Anything, but is most practiced in healing and lightning type. He has a cutie mark of a black tome with a white Eye of Horus on the cover.

Age (Optional): 28-34
Personality: Reserved around strangers, but once he knows you he is quite easy to have a conversation with but it takes a long time for him to become friendly. Regardless of how well he knows you, he will always speak up to correct something if he knows you aren't correct. He is protective of his few friends, and is willing to commit actions that break many laws in order to protect them.
(Preferred) Profession: Magical Advisor/Master Mage. He has a large pool of magic, capable of sustaining a moderately taxing spell for hours or even days. Unfortunately, the heavier load of magic a spell draws the more likely it is to cause a severe magical outburst, so he wears a limiter ring to allow only an average draw from his pool. Without the ring he is capable of extremely powerful spells, although they are quick to tire him since he cannot actively control the amount of magic that goes into them.
My personal canon is that his family was cursed by Discord during his reign to have uncontrollable magic, having it lash out randomly because of a comment their Progenitor had made during the court of the mad king. Because of this, when the two Princesses defeated Discord they left the country for fear of being seen as Discordant followers because of the curse and imprisoned.

Their defining trait is the fact that they use magic both internal and external which is why they aren't considered regular dragons. they use Unicorn/Alicorn magic along with draconic magic. Raijin is limited to only healing in the unicorn style of magic as she never had much aptitude for it.
She mainly uses draconic combat magic (thus explaining the lightning) because she was raised to be an assassin. She originates from a country just under the Arctic band called Zistral, a mountainous place.
It resides above Equestria but feel free to change so she is from Japan (not sure if you ponyfied the name of Japan XD) as her name, last name, and enemy clan's last name are all Japanese. (a language in which I am passable.) As I said just above the main bit of info on my original submission she is a Draconian and I just elaborated on them. Anything else?

2539120 I've received (requests for draconequus), humans, human gods and the like. I've also received time-traveling cybernetic organisms.
I never received a wolf per se, but I have received a dragon/wolf hybrid, which I've edited to make it a dragon hybrid with a bipedal wolf-like creature (hence the parenthesis), in order to nip it in the bud. Even in this world, sapient wolves are one thing: a bipedal sapient wolf-like creature is completely different.
Nobody submitted an alicorn, but I didn't want the opportunity to be there.

Somewhat religious, mostly to pray for guidance, forgiveness or to guide the dead to the afterlife whether he cause the death or not. Refuses to take a herd, instead opting to settle down with a soul mate.

His species does not breathe fire, but in exchange can manipulate their shadow into basic weaponry, forearm mounted shields or small stationary barriers.
Subspecies never grows much larger than that of an alicorn even in the later years.
Carries his family sword 'Harmony and Dissonance' on his back.
Family sword is compose of damascus (or equestrian equivalent) steel alloyed with adamant steel that swirls with black and silver.
Backstory: Hatched into the Noxus family of nobles. Lived a charmed life up until the age of 13 when he was finally allowed to leave the family mansion under armed escort. When out he finally saw that others did not share a similar life, oftentimes destitute, and requested that his father send aide to those struggling to live. With his father's refusal, he snuck out with the family sword and pledged himself into a mercenary band specifically to insult his noble lineage. In the travels he had developed the strength of a warrior and took to religion as a way to ease his guilt both for abandoning his family as well as seeking forgiveness for taking lives. Left the mercenaries after a decade to find his own life as a wanderer in search of a place he could call home. Even approaching his 60s he has yet to find such a place or wife to settle down.

Terra Ignis, that's the name I've decided on for my OC, and as such, changing the color scheme of him to that of one more representing lava, how that is, I'll let you decide
