So... New Layout · 2:01pm Dec 5th, 2013

All of my scripts have been updated to work with the recent style changes to FimFiction.

There are some minor improvements to Extra Emoticons for unspoilering images in comments.

FimFiction advanced now adds the option to change the background color for the website. You can find the option in the usual place under Settings.

Fimfiction Advance is available here.

Extra Emoticons is available here.

Both require Greasemonkey for Firefox or Tampermonkey for Chrome

Edit:
Scripts are updated for the new comment styling. Anyone using Extra Emoticons will have to reinstall all of their content packs to recieve the update.

Any and all recommendations are welcome and appreciated. Thank-you for the support.

I found this from the comments in Knighty's site post, and I wanted to tell you it's very cool. I'm using the FiMfiction Advanced right now, and I'm curious about the emotes extender, but I'm not sure if it would conflict with the one by KrazyTheFox. I'm too computer-dumb to fix things if they mess up.

Do you mind if I make a blog post about your stuff, in case other people are interested?

I'd appreciate it if you would post a blog. I need more exposure.

I can assure you that both of my scripts are safe to use with KrazyTheFox's Emote Extender. Extra Emoticons has even been specifically modified to work together with it. :twilightsheepish:

Oh, you're a paragon. Will recommend this script.

Sweet. Totally installing this now.

paragon?
Is that a good thing?

Thank you so so SO much for this. You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar!

You mind if I recommend this on my blog?

I input a straight up black color code, #000000 and it's just a darker shade of grey, but it's so much better.

I'mma recommend you in a blog too:moustache:

It works great, now to just find away to change the background textures.

You have taken over iloveportalzor's spot as Fimfic modifier.

To tell the truth, I think he kinda stopped. He did it once, and though it worked, it used a dropbox for the images and therefore left image links behind. He doesn't really keep up with the new updates anymore.

1575241 I can do that, two clicks. I'll put it on my todo list.

I s there nothing for Internet Explorer?

Sorry, they do support user scripts but it's horribly undocumented and hardly anyone knows how to use it. I also have the feeling that installing scripts on it would be more of a hassle than it is worth.

Googling a bit there was a thing called Trixie but their site no longer exists.

Why not just get a better browser? They are free and offer more to the user in every conceivable way.

Well, what do ya know. An awesome scripter who makes things user friendly, and isn't a firefox snob. Thanks for these. You are a wonderfully awesome person.

i would so install this if i could find a mobile app browser that would support downloads or plugins.......or what ever would allow me to use it....

actually, is there one?

Thank you for this! And you get a follow.

Yay, no weird textboxes!
Though for some reason I can't see anything except one image in comment #21 in here.

Uh, the colors don't work anymore...:ajbemused:

As Azusa said, apparently the most recent updates broke FimFic Advanced. Oh, and thanks for taking the time to make it, I really do appreciate the time and effort spent to make the site a better one.

Cheers,
