Hiatus Status: Twist's Loss

As some may have already seen, a bunch of my stories have been placed in Hiatus.
Twist's Loss is one of the stories I have placed on Hiatus.

There is a reason for that. This is due to advice given to me by a writer here, and this advice makes sense, hence, I shall do this so I can do what is needed to make these stories as good as they should be, and will also make it so I will finally be able to update them on a regular basis.

This was sent to me in reply to a request for advice and help with some of my work. Considering how well the writer constructs his stories, and his experience with writing, I shall take this advice as sage advice.

When it comes to writing multi-chapter stories, I feel the whole thing should be drafted at least twice before stuff is released. Releasing something and then cleaning it up later barring catastrophic circumstances is just messy, because by publishing something, you are basically saying, "This is my final draft. Have at it." If anything is published, it should be combed for polishing anyway, and the only way to achieve a significant improvement from there is to rewrite the thing. Rewrites are most effective after the entire story is complete, and you haven't looked at it for a long time (Stephen King waits 4-6 weeks between completing the first draft and beginning the second draft of his novels).

(mind you, this is not the complete message, but this IS the part that pertains to why I have place my stories on Hiatus.)

Now, I DO plan on finishing all of these. Here is the plan. Once the first draft of a story is completed, it will be gone over with a fine tooth comb by other writers and editors, prereaders and proofreaders, and then I shall take notes on what changes are needed, and they will be re-written, gone over a final time, and THEN I will edit the chapters I do have up to the new versions, and will notify the followers that particular fic that it is off Hiatus, and will be updated every week.

Twist's Loss WILL be completed. I just have to get it written, then re-written first.

I Will be doing the occasional oneshot as well while working on getting the Hiatus fics complete, so you will see more from me lol

Please bare with me as I do all of this, those of you who have been waiting for my stories to update. I want my stories to be the best they can be. My readers deserve that much.
