Dragonfox
6347120 It was a joke.
something about this chapter really grabbed me and in a good way. this chapter really stands out to me Silver is really sharing his feeling's and trying to do good bye David.
this story is now starting to have a turning point Silver is really getting home sick he is missing Ponyville really bade. and now the Rough Draft was in the story it bring to light a question.
Rough and Trixie --- baby what did Trixie Have and was it twins????? defiantly time for a letter of some kind from Silver's home town the readers need input.
Harts Fire
For Glory, For Ponies, FOR THE TYPOS!!!!!.
Anyways great chapter nothing is ever what I suspect and I love it keeps it fresh.
I don't have a clue as to what is going to finally end up with David's situation. Of course he's gonna find companionship, but with who?
Awe man, forgot about the D&D schtick. Maybe Silver can join the next session?
Interesting to see Bottom getting a little assertive, I kinda like that?
Keep going! ;)
Human silver is awkward too!
Edit like five seconds later: i forget they are same person even though I just said it
Odd as it may seem, the correct spelling is "ogled."
There are two spaces between "his" and "wings."
6353752 Fixed!
6354553 I had to do some thinking on this chapter regarding how I felt about it. The conclusion I came to was that it wasn't going where I wanted it to, but if I put that aside then I have to admit that what's here is good stuff.
I say that largely with regards to the interaction between Silver Stars and Celestia. At first, I was going to bemoan them going over familiar ground again, but I have to consider that this isn't necessarily unrealistic of them. What happened between them before was a major breach of trust between them, and it makes sense that it would continue to be a point of friction. Like a loving couple that stays together after one of them has an affair, it's an unpleasant point that is going to come up periodically, and they'll need to deal with it when it does.
In this regard, it was interesting that we got hints of how each of them is approaching the issue. Celestia seems to want to shed her guilt by somehow maneuvering Silver into admitting that what she did had some merit to it, and that makes it okay. By contrast, Silver wants her to understand why it felt as awful as it did, since that understanding is the clearest form of empathy. Watching them try to reconcile this is interesting in terms of their relationship, if only because this seems like an actual point of friction between them. It's nicely humanizing (no pun intended) for their romance.
With regards to human-David, I remain far less interested in how he's doing. This fic is quite clearly centrally-focused on Silver's feelings, and as it is we're still covering ground from quite a while ago. That by itself can be made to work, but now we're getting that and we're focusing on retreading the "how David feels when he gets to Equestria" aspect too? That's a bridge too far - we've been there, and we've done that. I get that he's supposed to be serving as a mirror for how far Silver has come, but I'm wondering if that message is coming through. If so, it needs to be made succinctly, so that Silver can move on and be less focused on what's going on in his head than on what's going on around him.
6357013 This story's about Silver, and remains fairly solidly so. It just has a new bit player... that happens to be a lot like Silver from long ago, but not exactly. As you say, it's kind of important for them to hash this point out, no matter how 'old' it is. It's a big deal, at least between them. They aren't coming to blows over it, or shouting matches, and that's good. Both are being largely mature, just disagreeing.
The plot advances!
When was this? I don’t remember it.
