Man , I feel bad for silver. He keeps on getting the short end of the stick. (Sorry bad pun) Good chapter but Tia is probably not happy with this. I wouldn't be surprised if the Anubians got a taste of sunbutt's wrath pretty soon.
6247759 It would not reflect well on Silver's overall growth if he had to keep relying on others to save him from situations he entered of his own volition.
I don't know if it's just me but I can't see the pictures that you posted in the story. Also I think that's cheating using pictures to describe the people unless its hard to understand. (Just me).
So far I didn't see any errors except for not seeing the pictures.
I can see the next chapter being interesting. With the 'services' that Silver is forced to perform, they don't know about his teeth being a magical foci. I get a feeling that he's going to use that to his advantage.
6247929 Fortunately, I did provide a description. You miss nothing but bonus material. To see the pictures you would need to be logged into furaffinity.net, likely.
Hmm Prince Sliver Bottom?
I have a bade feeling I know what Nefertari wants.
and at the same time if Silver releases his full power the camp would be leveled, after all Silver is a alicorn and has a huge amount of magic at his disposal if he truly taps in to it.
Well. Well. Well.
A deep haiku for you:
Person not object
Arrogant one pays a price
High road means long drop
♥♥♥♀♀♀♀♀♀♂♀♀♀♀♀♀♥♥♥
If somebody said that to me. What I wish I would do is say fuck you and then smack them in the forehead. But what I'd probably do is just be quietly angry.
Well, plan A1.4 didn't work, time to move on to plan B6.7?
So they know he's human (or at least, similar to the humanoid warriors they seem to be cousins of), and are trying to get him to express it? Curious.
Too bad even if he does act to stoop to that level it won't work, since his nature isn't precisely aligned in the way it seems they're thinking it is.
Keep going! ;)
6249944 Silver still has hope.
6249998 They sure seem to know something...
The use of "atmosphere" twice is cumbersome. Change that second instance to something like "sanctuary."
"Forty" percent human.
I'm guessing she means "war form," though the term "war farm" seems evocative too, even if I'm not sure what it'd actually be.
There are two spaces between "wasn't" and "quite."
There are two spaces between "wandering" and "more."
What a surprise, going to a warlike people in the spirit of docility turned out badly. I swear, Silver, you have good ideas but the implementation leaves so much to be desired. To be fair, though, this poor turn of events can't be entirely laid at his hooves. Nefertari is quite clearly far more cunning than he had counted on (though to be clear, I'm not entirely sure what he was counting on to begin with) and her connection to the "spirits" is pretty clearly no idle thing, since she's pushing his buttons quite adroitly.
What makes less sense to me is that Silver is apparently flip-flopping on the issue of whether to use violence or not to try and make headway with the Anubians. I can understand his throwing away any sense of restraint when he realized that his immediate future was full of dicks for him to suck on if he wanted to maintain his path, but if that's what pushed him over the edge, why submit to that treatment at all? Why not rebel when that first Anubian told him to blow him?
My guess would be that it wasn't so much being used as a sex toy - exclusively by males, no less - that caused Silver to abandon his path, but rather Nefertari's taunting on top of that. Unless I'm mistaken, Silver was under the impression that, for all his humiliation here, he could still make this peaceful path work out for him, and Nefertari put the kibosh on that idea. She basically told him (what should have been obvious, in) that he was just cementing his place as a thing, rather than a friend. That he was on a dead-end path, rather than walking a hard road to a worthwhile result.
It's a bitter irony that this perhaps forced Silver to, if not confront his homophobia, then at least get used to the idea of what it was like to be with another male. Presuming that he's not traumatized by this experience (and he doesn't seem to be), I suppose he'll have less of a problem with Tumble when he gets back. Despite that, Silver is still lucky that he was just taking it from the front end, and wasn't told to lift his tail...also doubtlessly Nefertari's doing.
I should mention that Nefertari is a mystery, and her presentation is absolutely stellar for it. This is how a shaman should act; having an obvious purpose in everything she does, while still being utterly inscrutable as to what that purpose is or how she's planning on achieving it. She's baiting Silver, and quite likely planning on using him, but for what? She knows there's more to him than meets the eye, and it seems like she knows a great deal about him, but what she's doing with that information is intriguingly difficult to guess. She knows that he has power, and that he has quite the libido, and she's adeptly turning those qualities against him with such ease that she's almost frightening for it. She's wielding her power in such a smooth manner that it's both strong and seductive at the same time.
Hopefully Silver will find a way out - especially since he can't teleport with the horn block on, and whomever was following him is probably gone now - because I'm honestly not sure that he's a match for her at this point, let alone her with an entire tribe backing her up.
6253121 Silver is outraged, disgusted, and still intrigued. He wanted to do things 'right'. But that path is clearly not the one he thought it was. Being the Anubian's continuing docile pet is not the way. It only got them an idle source of amusement, and got him nothing at all. He would have to prove himself worth respecting, and he's feeling ready to do just that.
He does not want to be the conqueror, or the destroyer. He will rise above that, and succeed. He will not cost anyone their lives, or so is the plan. If he's forced to withdraw, then it means a horrible and bloody war that will win nobody anything. If he can win, somehow... somehow... He can save everyone, including the Anubians. Despite how awful they've been to him, he wants to see them saved, not dashed.
There are other factors behind his thoughts, but I leave that to the readers to puzzle over.
Silver will have some Anubian die
a war farm is confusing. War form?
naïve
Caught a spy sir, shall we lock him up or interrogate him?
I would unleash hell if I were treated like that!!
While doing this evil laugh.
