You know based on the chapter title I was expecting something to explode. Not that there wasn't a powerful release of energy.
a rather interesting chapter at lest for most every one.
I am betting Silver will stop playing with his magic at lest for a little bit.
Harts Fire
The movements seemed to gently "irritate" his wounds.
There's no need for the apostrophe here.
Capitalize Aila's name.
Also, delete the "-la" at the end of Shei's name.
Change the second instance of "things" to "them," so as to avoid repetition.
How long "are" you supposed to be battered and bruised for?

My current headcanon is that the 'gift' from the Pharoah is like the package from Final Fantasy IV. When they get out to sea, it will open itself and 6 of those fire elemental bomb creatures will come out and attack!
Then Silver will seduce them all, and have little lunar bomblings. And they all live happily ever after.
As they prepare to depart Anugypt, Silver experiments a bit more with his condition. Apparently he's not a quick learner, since this once again leads to sex, though in this case a cat sticks their head in before, rather than during, Silver's playtime with his mares.
My initial read of this chapter was that it was largely sex for its own sake (in terms of narrative progression) - which, I should note, is not necessarily a bad thing - but on reading it over a second time, we did get some tidbits that further expound on Silver's current situation, in terms of his condition. While nothing truly major was revealed here, these hints could be important down the line, depending on how future developments shake up.
The big one was that Silver was able to confirm how his aetheric net has been "rerouted" so that his 'nads are the center of his body's internal magic channels. That plays into the suspicions I had before; Silver can still move it to other areas of his body - potentially even his horn, from which he can then cast externally - but it has to pass through his groin first. In all likelihood, this means that the sexual side effects are going to be impossible to avoid. My guess is that the majority if the adjusting that Silver's going to have to do will be with regard to learning to generate more willpower to avoid succumbing to the temptation to indulge the accompanying carnal desires. Unless and until he gets that ball-ring off, magic itself is going to be a sexual turn-on for him.
Of course, it's going to be a turn-on for those around him too (which means that the willpower of those around Silver will also be a factor, since it might impede things if they suddenly jump him) as the scene with the guard showed. While it was ambiguous if this means that Silver's pheromones are universal in whom they can seduce, or if it means that that particular guard was gay - I find the latter of these two explanations to be more likely - it was a decidedly unexpected twist to have Silver come very close to having a fling with one of the guards.
Unexpected, but not at all unwelcome. Silver has struggled with (male) homophobia for a while now, and this would have been a perfect opportunity to indulge himself in a fling in that regard, and in doing so try to become more comfortable with the concept, since we've already established that his hangups about that are leftover social conditioning from his home-world. Heck, if nothing else, it would have been good practice for when he reunites with Tumble (who will be absolutely head-over-hooves for Silver's pheromones now). It's not like this would change anything about his character, since not only has he been with stallions before (well, sort of), but I suspect that Silver would still have 95% of his rutting with mares anyway.
I suppose this would run afoul of the whole "if you're not trying to knock them up, then it's an affair, which is verboten," but that seems a little too technical. Fast Change (and, I guess, Twilight) notwithstanding, this wouldn't be something that his wives could give him anyway, so I'd say that this constitutes an exception. On a related note, it was a bit presumptuous of Silver to tell the guard to leave before he "did something he'd regret later." Why, exactly, does Silver think the guard would regret it later? Maybe he'd look back on it with affection, happiness, or even just arousal later on; Silver seems to have taken it as a foregone conclusion that the guard would have been ashamed of what happened once they were done. That's quite clearly Silver projecting.
His aborted attempt at autofellatio was also mildly amusing. Hey, it could have ended worse: he could have broken his neck (get the reference?).
Of course, Silver didn't have to go completely unsatisfied, since his lovely wife was there to help him calm down. I'm a little confused why she slammed the door in Aila and Shei's faces - presumably for privacy, but it's not like they haven't seen Silver erect before. At that point Celestia didn't know that they were about to rut, since all she was doing was packing, so why not let the Windsong girls in to help?
Oh, and Celestia? Silver does not need to "pay you back" for not bringing you to orgasm. You may have forgotten that your first night in Anugypt, just after Aila tried to kill you, Silver went down on you quite vigorously, for which you did nothing for him after he was finished. So yeah, you're even now. Maybe that's not chivalrous of me, but I can't help but note her presumptuousness here.
Apart from that, I have to wonder...is she pregnant now? She and Silver both noted the hefty release he had in her, though it was described as "energetic" rather than being of "energy" per se. Between that and the story flat-out mentioning that she wasn't going back into her heat, my suspicion is that he didn't impregnate her here either. If that's the case, then it would seem that moving a female into her season may be something that even Silver's augmented sexuality can't do...at least, not yet. I suppose time will tell on that one (though it makes me wonder if, presuming the cats are the same, it would have been safe for Silver to mount Amenti after all).
I should mention that the flashback with all four ponies talking about Celestia's feelings with regard to her having slain Silver's would-be assassin was another frustrating moment, simply for how short the vignette was. It broached the topic only to immediately shut it down. It was like a tease, except without the sexiness. To be fair, the story doesn't need to deal with Celestia having any sort of personal crisis over killing; but if it's not, then it shouldn't raise the issue and then immediately drop it like this - either make it a point of drama, or move on.
Speaking of moving on, it seems that Amenti has a parting gift for Silver now that they're headed for Saddle Arabia. But what could be in the mystery box...?
6103773 Typos sent to a very special prison.
Glad you liked the chapter, even if it required a second read through to really wrap around. Celestia slapped the door shut because she smelled how the room was getting and worried if she let everyone in, they may not escape in time to make their stately exit. Silver had to be cleaned up and hosed down, which is what she got to doing until she fell victim to it and satisfied him first.
The guard was not supposed to sleep with royal foreigners, Silver is pretty sure. That's just another impropriety to add to the pile that Silver could avoid. That and he's still a bit homophobic and didn't want to get hot and heavy with the guy-cat. If it was a girl-cat... maybe. If it was Amenti, he would have burst into tears.
Cool, all caught up!
Silver's condition is actually fairly dangerous, having the Nexus of energy routing on the outside of the body is just asking for someone to shoot at it. Cores belong at the center of the body, or at least the most secure place.
I mean, can you imagine battling all out with a massive erection? No! NO WAIT, DON'T IMAGINE.... Darn, too late!
Keep going! ;)
6104532 My mental eyes!
It's absolutely hilarious how Silver just goes through a normal routine and the suddenly, Boner!
6104630 Horn magic makes him horny. It's kind of poetic.
6104548 are they half closed because you can't fully close them, or are you just excited to use them?
6104757 If I didn't like the idea, I would write about it a bit less. Silver's uncomfortable, but it's still kinda, you know, sexy in a weird way. Poor boy could use being attacked less often though. More mares, less stabbing, this Silver can get behind, both meanings.
6104532 think pogo from the Web comic Demon of the underground
WHAT HAD Silver do to be like that. NONOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!1
6105304 I'm not sure I follow?
When will Silver be able to use magic relatively normal again?
It was interesting when he used magic and throw it around, blowing people limbs....It get a lot less interesting without his magic.
So something occurred to me last night about what the next chapter is going to need to do.
With the focus on Silver and Celestia making their exit from Anugypt, and all of the problems and issues dogging their hooves as they do, there's something that's at risk of being lost in the shuffle: that the Windsong sisters need to sell their inn.
This is not a minor plot-point. Their inn is quite clearly a part of themselves; Aila was willing to kill to keep it funded, and even Shei was visibly distraught the first time that Silver said that he was taking them back to Equestria. While they may have had a very hard time managing it in such a hostile country, they weren't prepared to quit on it before Silver collared them.
Because of that, this isn't something that should just fade into the background; instead, it should be dealt with head-on, fully acknowledging that for Shei and Aila, this is a major life transition. (Ideally, they'll be able to sell the inn, so they can at least leave Anugypt behind on something resembling their own terms - I suppose it might also be burned down by hostile forces and achieve much the same effect, though that would be far more traumatic for them.) It might seem redundant at this point, since Silver has claimed and mounted both sisters, and they seem to have made peace with that, but I feel that this is something of a passive acknowledgment on their part. Closing the doors to their inn on their own, doing it themselves, would represent true acceptance that that part of their lives really is over, and that - even if they technically have no choice in the matter - they've reached a place of acceptance with their new lives, and are ready to move on, together, as sisters.
In other words, it should be them realizing that - like the song says - every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.
Found one!
6109537 Fixed!
halfway
Pharaoh
"Out with a bang" indeed. I notice that Celestia didn't bother cleaning up Silver's surprising performance...
Also, was it really so surprisingly that Silver, in his boredom, would play around with his magic? Sometimes I wonder just how often some of your characters play naïve.
Yeah, I'm not liking this. I want Silver fixed. Soon.

Well fixing him is one way to get rid of the bangle . . .
