Hmm...Celestia has a secret sex weapon. I approve of this plot and the mare that its attached to.
Oh! Oh! I caught a typo! Second to last paragraph," says"! I can has cookie?
.
.
Erm, sorry about that little outburst, apparently the censor filters aren't working again...
Keep going! ;)
You made me want pie. you can't read this haha you'll never find out what I'm about to say HA i actually wasn't going to say anything so LOL.
Pronouns reversed.
6113408 Fixed!
6112853 Pie?
There are two spaces between "in," and "embracing."
The use of "mounting" in that sentence seems extraneous; she's beneath him.
6113548 Fixed, and I meant 'building'.
I'm not entirely sure what did I just read.
Okay, Tia still don't trust Silver being a reasonable sapient being and not a blood-thursty monster.
She still don't think he's a pony.
Aight, nothing new here, but I thought she was past that already.
Then suddenly something something brainwashing scent.
What?
How did it even?
That's turning a sapient being into a thing.
That shit right there is even worse than slavery. At least slaves have (some) freedom of thought.
6114734 I feel like we read different chapters. It should be noted that Celestia did back off when asked to. That is a significant improvement of the situation compared to before. she also said that the pony thing was a frustration on her part and had very little to do with her actual feelings towards Silver.
6114774 Sure she backed out. Still, doesn't make it much better.
"Oh man s'cool, I was going to kill ya but now I won't cuz you don't feel comfortable with that".
Better than it could've been but worse that it should ever been.
6114789 It can also be taken as a bit of an object lesson. Silver should not treat his scent lightly. He has done much the same to others.
6114829 I clearly have a bias here.
Silver is new to all this stuff and clueless and have good intentions and various shit still happens to him.
Celly is an old alicorn princess by birth with at least a millenia of experience.
I wonder who I will side with...
6114880 And Silver agreed to be her sub with a safeword and everything, so Celly isn't going to feel too bad testing the limits. If Silver didn't like it, he had the power to say so, and she stopped, immediately. She did not dither or ask 'why', she just stopped. She repaid the trust given to her and didn't abuse it.
6114912 I read that as he agreed to some sexy experiments, not being a sub.
6114918 Ultimately inconsequential to the chapter's events.
6113576 It's taken me way too long to write this, but in a way that's a good thing, since reading and re-reading this chapter has helped me clarify my thoughts on it. The conclusion that I came to is that this is a very good chapter; it explores the relationship between Silver and Celestia on several levels, moving between them with surprising seamlessness.
Normally I'm critical of situations where the motivations of the characters aren't given to us in any form whatsoever, and I was initially concerned that that's what we had here. The reason I don't like that is because it crosses the line from ambiguity to a lacuna of information. Even a hint is taken as being a subtle nod towards one interpretation or the other (though it's possible to disagree on where the hint is pointing, or even what hints are there). While at first there didn't seem to be any of those here, I now think that there were several, and that they painted a surprisingly subtle picture of the relationship between the two.
What I was initially struck by most is how much Celestia is acting like Twilight here, in terms of wanting Silver to be upset at her for (what she perceives as) her failings on this trip. In that regard, it was irritating that Silver seemed to have forgotten what he learned from Twilight - and again with Aila! - when he found her request off-putting. Celestia made it clear, however, that there was more to it than just a sense of guilt. Rather, she wanted things to be more upset and all-around unpleasant because having raw emotions come out, no matter how ugly they are, is necessarily honest. Given that she has to maintain a level of decorum with virtually everyone, save only Luna, she's clearly trying to push Silver into (what is, for her) a more emotionally-intimate relationship. She was saying "I trust you enough to let you see the imperfect part of myself, and I hope you feel the same way."
I was really ready to castigate Silver for his response, which was "let's try knocking you up again." That really seemed like an evasion, rather than trying to acquiesce to her desire. Indeed, I was pretty much ready to chastise Silver for once again acting like he'd do anything for his wives, except for when it was something that he didn't want to do because he disagreed with their reasoning...but then it occurred to me that I was being too harsh. Silver isn't restraining himself with regards to offering them honesty-via-unpleasantness; he simply doesn't have any to give.
That's not literally true, I suspect - Silver isn't some sort of enlightened being that has left behind all negativity, after all - but for whatever reason, he (in a manner very akin to Fluttershy) has no real capacity for storing or "repressing" anger or similar emotions; instead, he avoids conflict where he can, and tries to move past it once it's over if he can't.
This isn't to say that he's necessarily better for it, at least in terms of his relationship with Celestia; she's asking for something that he can't give her, and that's a major flaw in a relationship...or at least it would be, except that that's not, in fact, what she's asking him for. What she's asking him for is proof of honesty, since that's the way to an emotional connection (as mentioned before). It's just that it's easier to find honesty is negativity, because while people might present false friendship/love in order to gain something, there's nothing to be gained from false hatred/antipathy, and so we assume that it must be real.
The end result of this was that Silver and Celestia were communicating completely different things to each other during this conversation. Celestia wanted Silver to display anger that he didn't feel, and interpreted his lack of compliance as a rejection of getting to know the "real" her. Likewise, Silver didn't understand what she wanted...and even when he did understand, couldn't reply in the manner that she desired, and so had to try something else. How well that worked is an open question.
Indeed, the issue with whether or not Silver was able to knock Celestia up this time around remains - once again - uncertain. However, I'm once again dubious of Silver's attempt to "cheat the system," as it were. That's largely because he's attempting to impregnate her in stages, rather than all at once, and I doubt it works like that. The basic assumption here is that Silver's initial "donation" of his masculine energies (be it magic, genetic material, or whatnot) failed to impregnate Celestia because a requisite amount was required, which he didn't provide her with. However, since it's still in her, he's going to try and add even more at a later date, hoping that another "deposit" will merge with the first, and eventually provide Celestia with enough to knock her up...even if she's not in her season when these subsequent donations are taking place.
So why don't I think that will work? Mainly because, if this particular method was viable, then in all likelihood Celestia or Luna would have been pregnant before. Remember, they've had other lovers - and even other ones during their season (having made reference to "controlling themselves" during it so as to not draw too much from whatever stallion they were with) - so if it was simply a matter of releasing inside them over and over and over until they'd received enough to reach a given threshold, then surely such a thing would have happened by now? At some point, they must have had lovers that they did it with often enough that, if these donations were cumulative, then it would have taken root.
Since that didn't happen, that suggests to me that this particular tactic won't work either. The fact that she's no longer fertile doesn't seem like it'd help anyway, since even if Silver does fill her with enough magic now, it has nowhere to go, per se; her "fields" aren't going to bear fruit, no matter how much he plows them right now. Don't get me wrong, he's doing a credible job trying to find a way around the problem - to the point that it's becoming a running theme throughout the story - but I suspect that at the end of the day, he's going to have to wait until she's in her heat again and then find it within himself to give her enough, all in one shot.
As for Celestia's trick with the super-pheromones...I'm presuming that that was her trying to set what she thought would be a sexy mood, rather than her trying to teach him an object lesson about what it means to flood someone with aphrodesiacs. After all, that would be sort of pointless, considering that she said that his were not so potent as to make someone become so addled that their consciousness was impaired. To be sure, there's some poetry in pointing out that Silver is essentially drugging the people around him when he does that, but there's a difference between something that makes someone feel a little loose, and a roofie. If that was Celestia trying to make a point, it was rather heavy-hoofed (and not necessarily applicable)...which is par for the course for her, all things considered.
It was also notable that she doesn't consider him a real pony. I'm not sure what to make of that, since she doesn't seem to have too much pathos over it. She honestly does seem to love him, after all. I suspect that it was more along the lines of her bemoaning how different they are, in terms of how they think. Despite their romance, they remain very different, despite many attempts to close that gap...including this latest one.
6116185 Silver's injuries really are not helping. He will be a much happier and frisky stallion when we is without pain. He wants his wife to be happy, and not feeling the pressure of needing to prove herself to him beyond being loving.
and Silver try's agene to add to hit attempt to quicken Celestia maybe he is on the right track and a build up of magic is required.
lets all hope for the best.

Seriously, is literally every chapter going to be porn?
6683436 Those were the days... I can't even remember the last chapter that was a porn chapter. Enjoy them while they last.
