Just as long as the trading ships aren't delayed by three days in their passage. Beware the ides of march!
The Turkey's King reminds me a bit of King Bumi from Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Wasn't the set initially made for a cat?
I honestly didn't see that coming. Well done!
We do wonder how many more artifacts there are. Will he end up looking like the Iron Pony? Time will tell....
Keep going! ;)
6233847 the smaller one was used on a cat yes, but remember it changed shape when it locked into Silver. I assume the same Magic is at play to adjust the remaining parts as they draw near each other.

6233868 The first piece had a cat story, and it painted the story of a wild stud. That was fairly clearly not the story of someone who had multiple pieces.
With 3 pieces I gotta wonder what could be left as I've seen 3 being the complete representation of both an individual and of pony society split into the core aspects of Mind, Body and Spirit. Mind being Unicorns with their knowledge and desire to learn, Pegasi with their wings of freedom to liberate the spirit and Earth Ponies being solid built and enduring like the steady earth.
That clever bird... I like him. (King bumi's incarnation? ) Great chapter and can't wait for silver to come back to Equestria.
6234443 The hooves are pretty earthy. The neck-bracelet thing enhanced the lungs and energy, which both pegasi and earth ponies had good access to. The first, well, no particular tribe had dibs on carnal energy.
6234453 I'm speaking more of how many other pieces there could be. I could also see it being more like the whole chakra thing which could mean several. I could believe this especially so since its messing with his magic which could be seen mostly as the spirit aspect which breaks down into characteristics which include desire and pleasure which the first bangle could very easily fit with in this case.
It sounds like all the pieces make up a set similar to that of the princess' regalia.
Rutherford, AKA Master Stroke.
he is most defiantly a master of politicks he steered Silver and Celestia right ware he wanted them to go.
on the other hoof artifact #3 is found. and Silver is a little more hole for it. too more to be found and some how I am betting they are going to be hard to find.
Harts Fire
The use of "involve" twice in a row is a bit cumbersome. I'd change that first instance to "deep conversations."
"Curiously-placed" perching rods.
Capitalize "march."
Same thing, here.
So Rutherford is indeed quite crazy...crazy like a fox! I admit, I didn't see that particular twist coming, even though the whole "the king masquerades as a commoner" idea is far from being rare. I suppose I would have thought that it he wasn't taking any special precautions to hide his identity, then someone on the street would have recognized him and acted accordingly. Of course, that's not necessarily a truism, since in the days preceding mass media, most people didn't know what their rulers looked like, so there's that.
That said, what was up with his "henfriend" who warned him to run since Silver had "horse flu" or whatever it was. Was that Samantha, or does Rutherford get around, or what? (For that matter, I have to wonder if there are any single monarchs? Obviously everyone wants to make sure there's an heir, hence why Amenti was being married off so quickly, but it's still notable how every ruler is paired up with at least one other person.)
Still, he played them masterfully. I expect that most everyone thought that the turkeys were stupid, or otherwise "lacking in wisdom," to put it nicely, and he easily played that prejudice to his advantage. Of course, for all his "madness," he's still a turkey, what with setting aside exactly one day out of the year for trading. Still, it's more than Equestria had before, so that's good! That said, what was up with Celestia side-lining Silver during the latter part of the conversation? Yes it was true, but it doesn't strike me as normal to deliberately downplay the authority of someone who is your ostensible equal when dealing with a foreign power; rather, you present a united front. Celestia's answer wasn't too undiplomatic, but she kind of hamstrung him there.
Insofar as that third item goes, I'm presuming that was Rutherford's doing as well, since he noticed it immediately without any surprise. As it is, it's nice that Silver has three now. Presumably each one balances him more, as has been hinted, but I'm wondering if things will be a little too convenient if he finds them all with this same quickness. He's had his stroke of good fortune twice over now; from here on out, I hope the story is less forgiving with regards to the remaining items (e.g. since these can't be removed, what happens if he meets someone else that's actually wearing a remaining piece? That'd be a complication...all the more so if they want the ones Silver has, which would mean killing him).
Still, that might all be moot. Notwithstanding the Anubian question, I have to wonder if Silver's time in this part of the world is nearing its end, especially with him having two newborns at home now...
6240430 Typos sent to the dungeon.
At the vendors stall, the horse shoes were mentioned as a set. It is not clarified at this point if it is a set of two or a set of four. I imagine that wondering this is a little silly since a set of horseshoes for a pony would normally be four but still I wonder.
6586615 What a silly pony, only getting two shoes...
Silver's
discreet
That certainly was a master stroke.
6586626 Have a contentious bone to pick, I thought these objects originally were attributed to a cat, so how do horseshoes equate into this? Oh yeah and Master Stroke you sneaky buzzard!
6942186 Only one item was attributed to a cat originally.
No it's the mad king
Where have I heard that before?
Ok. My annoyance is lessened.
HAHA K I didn’t expect that!!
