In the sequel to "Rarity Tries Out Magic", Magic: The Gathering has become popular at the Ponyville Schoolhouse with everypony going out and buying starter decks. Everypony's having a great time with their cards and battling each other. However, one pony seems to be unstoppable in her quest to defeat each and every single pony in class with her deck combinations. With the rise of this student, can anypony there defeat this player and restore balance to the school?

In the sequel to "Cutie Mark Crusaders Investigators", we learn about the young unicorn who had destroyed the diorama and how Twilight has taken her under her hoof to help learn and control their magic. Excited and nervous, Twilight must learn how to teach to a student who seems to learn faster than she can teach and that sometimes, giving facts and knowledge isn't the only role a teacher or tutor can have in a young pupil's life.

After waking up in a cavern, Spike finds himself struggling to find an exit. While looking for a way out, he finds a strange pony who's also been trapped there, and the two attempt to leave. What Spike doesn't know is that some meetings aren't always by chance.

Spike comes over and tries to teach Rarity about the card game Magic: The Gathering. He's hoping that she'll enjoy the game and become a player just like him. Hopefully Spike can teach her well and get her to enjoy his favorite game.

It's another Cider Season for the Apple Family, and everything looks great. Just as things are about to get started though, the Flim Flam Brothers return with shocking news; the Apple Family can't sell cider there! Being forced with the possibility of selling the farm, Twilight gathers up her friends to venture forth and get the money to save the farm. Meanwhile, the two brothers are forced to stay at the farm while waiting for their money. After hearing their tale of being without a cutie mark and not knowing what they can do, Discord decides to help them out by giving them their own unique superpowers! Joining together and taking on the group name Fighter Filly Girls, the three fillies will defend Ponyville from such forces as a large talking bear, an inventive turtle, incredibly large beasts, and something the world has never seen before. Together, these three have dedicated their lives (at least free time) to fighting crime and the forces of evil!

A diorama has been destroyed in Miss Cheerilee's classroom and the evidence makes Sweetie Belle the prime suspect! Scootaloo and Apple Bloom defend their friend and the three decide to investigate the diorama's destruction and clear their good friend's name. With only three days until their time is up, can they find the unicorn responsible for the crime?

Luna and Celestia haven't been able to spend much time together since her return from exile, but today that all changes. Finishing their royal duties on time, they've finally made time where they can both hang out with each other the entire day. Wearing disguises, they ditch the worries of royalty and head into Canterlot to spend their time together, free of any schedule. While in Canterlot, the two sisters will learn more about each other than ever intended, and come to learn about themselves as well.

After the Hearth's Warming Eve Pageant Discord breaks out of his stony prison, angry that the pageant is historically incorrect by leaving him out of it. Not to be deterred by the Elements until he shows everypony the true history of Hearth's Warming Eve he stops the Elements from being activated and tells them of the true history of Hearth's Warming Eve.
