Daring Do gets a tip that there's a piece of valuable treasure hidden deep in the Everfree forest, and that it's been waiting for a pony like her to recover it. Though she goes in searching for what could be the greatest find of her entire career, in the end, she gets much more than the bargained for.

Rainbow goes out for her first big race, but after colliding with another racer, she's left injured and disappointed. Sitting in the team tent and nursing her broken wing, she strikes up a conversation with her coach and finds that her predicament isn't so dire after all. Sometimes a little perspective makes us realize how hopeful our future looks, even if things aren't going so well in the meantime.

Twilight goes through a day just like any other, or at least it seems that way at first. As unexplainable events keep repeating themselves, Twilight struggles to control her own mind. In the end, she finds herself on the wrong end of a muzzle and straightjacket, leaving those close to her puzzled as to what went wrong.

Cheerilee has to watch children all day. Sometimes it's boring, sometimes it's interesting, and sometimes she learns something new. Today is a little bit of all three, because although she's seen the same story play out many times, it's always interesting, and when it comes to colts and fillies, there's always more to learn about just how frivolous their social lives can be.

Sometimes the sky glows red. It's an easily explainable occurrence, but Applejack doesn't know that. Rainbow Dash wakes up in someone else's bed again, surrounded by yet another set of unfamiliar walls. It's the price she pays to be happy, to drag herself up the mountain and tumble down the other side, battered and bruised, at the end of the day.

Most ponies hate rain. It drives you inside and covers up the sun; what's to like? Fluttershy, however, sees it as an opportunity. Rainstorms give her the chance to withdraw and to think, not burdened by social obligations or pressures. Yet for all it's virtues, rain tend to leave you wet and cold, and if Pinkie can teach Fluttershy anything, it's how to warm up a bit.
