After Daring Do and Lyra team up and trek across the world to a remote cave looking for traces of a lost civilization, they find themselves confronted with a room containing a single door... and the guardian keeping it closed.

With airships flying around, automatic houses catering to every whim, and ponies getting the latest models for their bodies, Applejack and Rarity have a conversation over the changes in their lives.

A plague has swept through Equestria, and the Capital city of Canterlot contains the last bastion of civilization, the final holdout against the sickness that causes ponies to lose their sight and themselves. Inside an abandoned building, sits a lonely diary, chronicling a mare's journey to help her friends overcome the disease.

After the Apple Family barn collapses yet again, Applejack starts rebuilding it... except nopony else lends a hoof to help. Before the night is through, Applejack will make sure they'll be examining her hard work in detail... for a chance to escape.

Several months have passed since the Dazzlings' defeat at the hands of Sunset Shimmer and her friends, and Sonata Dusk finds herself living on her own in a very strange place. Rude statues, unconventional forms of rent, and otherworldly beings as other tenants are the least she has to come to terms with.

Especially when she finds out that her new place is only a few blocks down the road from her biggest cause of worry.

She could leave, but she'd have to live on the streets, and the autumn wind is only getting colder. Can she survive in an apartment where the closets come pre-stocked with skeletons of their own and the water only works if you ask nicely?

Probably not, but what does she have to lose?

Pinkie Pie doesn't like when other ponies cry. She always tries to cheer them up and make them stop, because that's what good friends do.

When she hears somepony she's never met crying in an unfamiliar place, she decides that maybe helping everyone isn't the best idea.

In this forgotten land where none but ghosts of the past roam, these three friends will be tested by the rough environment, mysterious enemies, and the heartless secrets of a world better left forgotten.

Will they find treasures and knowledge from the past? Or will it claim them all and bury them among its ruins?

When an alien spaceship crashes into Equestria, Twilight Sparkle has to make sure their extra-terrestrial guests feel comfortable and at home, lest they try to raze everything in sight to the ground, while Krr'zal, an alien Commander, has to learn to pull his socks up (figuratively speaking) and properly represent the larger Galactic Community, as well as prevent his crew from running rampant among the ponies, and focus on getting off of what seems like their new permanent home planet.
