This story is a sequel to Student of the Night

In the ancient times the deer culture believed that they were the creators and the ponies were the destroyers. But when Fluttershy and Nightwing travel to Whitetail they soon learn that something is very wrong with the forest and only Fluttershy can stop it.

All Nightwing ever wanted was a simple life. Was that to much to ask for? Apparently it was, after his family died and his home destroyed. Nightwing became the student of Princess Luna hoping to one day be able to make up for what happened. Or so he thought.
