Chapter 1 - Danger and Decisions

Snowfall woke up to a beautiful morning. She took a long, deep breath and sighed happily. Today was going to be special. She already knew it.

After a quick breakfast, she took off for work, two-coloured mane and tail flowing about in the breeze, snowy white wings flapping. She passed her cousin, Fluttershy, and they talked for a while. The two of them were very close, and they bothhad the same mane-style. Only Fluttershy's mane was pink and Snowfall's was an icy cyan and deep blue colour. they bid their farewells and Snowfall kept heading for work. "Hmmm, I feel like a sprint today" she said to herself. Snowfall took pride in her speediness, and always loved to fly around at top speed before work. As she was heading towards her spot, she noticed 10 pegasi like herself in black flying towards Canterlot. She also noticed the canvas bag that was slung over of of the black figures' shoulder. She decided that she'd follow along at a distance behind them, and did so. If only she knew what was in store

The black ponies were coming in towards canterlot. They landed just outside the entrance, and Snowfall hid in a nearby tree to listen in on them. " Right, here's the plan " one of them said. He had a deep, husky voice which somehow sounded familiar to Snowfall, but she decided she would think on it later. " Number 2 will knock the guards at the entrance out. Number 6, you will assist him with that." "Yes sir!" " The rest of us will sneak. Number 4, you will creep up behind the princess and knock her out.Number 9, you will put the brace around her horn, and Number 3 will tie her up." "Yes sir!" "The rest of us will carry her back for dinner. Understood? Let's go!"

Snowfall sat in horror. These ponies were ponynapping the princess. And it was for their dinner. She took off at to speed towards the castle. She had to warn the princess.

The Royal Guard was surprised to see a young white Pegasus bolt through the castle towards the princess' bed chambers. It surprised them even more when she demanded entry, even though day court was to be held soon." You don't understand " pleaded Snowfall." If I don't see the princess, the only place ponies will see her will be her grave! " The guards were looking at her skeptically. She growled in annoyance and rolled her electric-blue eyes. Then a majestic voice spoke.
"What is going on here? "" Princess, you have to listen to me! " And with that the whole story spilled out of Snowfall's mouth. She could see the princess' eyes widening in shock, but she kept on going.

"Please princess" begged Snowfall "I am speaking the truth and only the truth." And with that she looked up at the princess in desperation.

"I belive you child." And with that Snowfall sped behind the princess and was knocked hard in the head. She fell to the ground, and saw flashes of light, and a bunch of handcuffs.
All went black.

Snowfall woke up with a massive headache. Her eyelids felt like lead, and she didn't remember falling asleep in a white room...

All the memories of bandits and the princess came rushing back. Her eyelids flew open and she attempted to sit up, but she slid back down as her head felt as though it would split. "Be calm, the princess is fine." Snowfall turned to see who had spoken, and saw it was none other than Princess Twilight. Snowfall bowed her head in respect and looked up at Twilight, eyes asking her to continue. The lavender pony smiled. "After you were knocked out and the bandits were being taken to the cells, the princess rushed you to the hospital. You've been out cold for 2 days."

Snowfall sat straight as a pole in her bed. "2 days!?" she said quietly. "Yes, 2 days" Twilight replied " But don't worry, we have informed your boss of the incident." Snowfall sighed with relief and sank back onto her pillows. " The princess" continued Twilight "asked me to watch over you this morning while she discussed some arrangements with ponies."

"Wait" spoke an alarmed snowfall "what arrangements?" At that moment the hospital wing doors burst open, and Princess Celestia strode in. The 2 ponies bowed, and Celestia stopped in front of the bed. "Have you told her Twilight?" The princess sounded excited about something. "No, Your Majesty, I was just about to." grinned Twilight.

"Snowfall, you are going to become a princess"

Word had spread that Equestria would soon have another new princess. No pony knew who it would be except all the current princesses and the pony who would become princess. It was 2 days until the coronation, and Canterlot was buzzing. Little did they know the soon-to-be princess was spending her final hour in hospital that very moment.

"You're looking much better, dear"
"I feel much better too" Snowfall replied cheerily. "Well, I'll go tell the princesses. You'll be out in an hour" said the nurse. Snowfall smiled and lay back. There was soon a knock at the door. Snowfall turned to see Princess Luna. "May I enter?" questioned the Princess. "But of course!" Snowfall grinned. Luna trotted over and smiled. "So," she began " excited about the big day? I heard the whole Crystal empire will be there." "Wow, really?" Snowfall gasped. " Yes, all of Equestria is attending " laughed Luna.

" Would you like to know about what its like being a princess? " implored Luna. " Oh yes please, Luna! " " Okay well............."

Darkness will overcome those who are to fear it, but there is always light, and those who believe will shine, and fear will never harm them

The big day had arrived.

I'm sorry this story needs to be fixed by giving major exposioition in the next chapter.
The flaws are too big, unless this is a giant Mary Sue fic and totally self-ego boosting.
If it isn't intended as such, then plz read below to see all the questions everyone is going to ask....

No commoner gets to the private wing of any royal palace. So how did she get there?
The guards at the front door would stop her before she got inside. So how did she evade them?
After that where were all the dozens of guards? There would have to be a chase, even if she is Rainbow Dash fast.
Then you have the question how in the world does she know where everything in the palace is?
If she is just a weather pony why would she have visited Celesita enough to know the layout by heart? Rarity has estabished that being invited in a visitor wing is a rare treat not aforded to just any pony.
After that it took Twilight 3 seasons and many incredible feats of Friendship to become a princess, so why did one lucky accident make a pegasus pony a princess?
Ordinary ponies do not suddenly become princesses, not even in the Princess Diaries.
