Hmmmmnn.....
Yo I called it! When you mentioned Jero learning stuff from Omnius I had a feeling he was becoming his apprentice. And with Omnius's passing Jero was the only one with any sort of knowledge about his work. Not the mention he also took his gear last chapter.
Jero can actually help out now without being a frontline fighter. Benchwarmer Jero is no more.
Completely untrue. The Traveler is a position appointed by the vaguely named "Gods of Good". Lance is an idiot and has his Apollyon form so that discounts him. I'm not sure I can call any version of Razor Graze 'good'. Vinetion is a crazy bitch. And all of the other bronies they had available at the time were some level of degenerate.
Jero was by far the best choice available.
Exactly.
The thing about prosthetics is that they always get damaged first. Much easier to replace than flesh.
There's simply no time for love to bloom on the battlefield, despite what others would say.

It's honestly one of the few things that have been planned for a long time. Way back in the day, I had a plot line where Jero would start helping Omnius. But the owner of Omnius never got around to helping flesh out that idea.
Those three defiantly could never be a Traveler with the rules set in place. Also, no matter how you look at it, Grace (Razor Graze) is a irremediable character. Luckily, Grace in my story isn't anything like Razor Graze, thank god. She's still an asshole and major bitch, but she's not a rapist.
Jero is honestly the nicest guy in the story, who may genuinely be the only Lawfully Good character in the story.
I loved writing this part. There was a large split back then between main characters, and the 'main' characters.
Exactly XP
I've never been a fan of stories that develop love interest early or fast. I like building up a rapport between characters first and let them happen naturally. Let's just forget that in my early years of writing I was the exact opposite Literally had Twilight like Lance by chapter 2, their first meeting. Good job younger me XD
