I actually think the amount of detail in the funeral was perfect, given this was from Fluttershy's perspective. She loves her friends and all, but even for something as important as this, I think she'd keep farther back, and as a result, miss a number of finer details. Not because she's rather be somewhere else, but because she doesn't want to feel like she's taking attention that doesn't belong to her.
