That was pretty good!

You know. You're never going to get noticed writing sensible stories. I suggest doing a TwilightXbook ship involving heavy clop. That would likely make the featured box.

Why the heck wasn't Spike in Dash's mental manifestation? He's just as important as the mane six and he would have had a strong effect considering their relationship: Dash completely ignored his existence when they first met, and he still considers her a friend and thinks she's cool. Here she thinks about the Sonic Rainboom that connected them all but doesn't seem to care that she also hatched him with it. That was a rather hurtful omission. Good thing Spike'll never know she thinks less of him than their filly friends.

Aside from that oversight, this was a pretty good story about confronting fear and overcoming anxiety. A perfect read for the Halloween season.

The honest truth is that I didn't even think of Spike. I never really got the impression that Spike is all that close with Rainbow Dash. Sure the Sonic Rainboom led to his hatching (and remember, the Rainboom itself didn't hatch him, it was the Rainboom's effect on Twilight that brought it about). But he doesn't really know much about that, he wasn't there when that fact was revealed to the Mane Six.
Remember, this is from Rainbow's perspective. If it was from Spike's perspective, well it'd be a completely different story.

Very interesting idea, bit.. not quite sure what the buck happened, but very intense and atmospheric.

This was a gloomy atmospheric masterpiece. The imagery was amazing, and you nailed the characterization.
