This story is a sequel to G5 Adventures in Scooby-Doo! and Batman: The Brave and the Bold
After discovering that the magical tree in Maretime Bay is holding a protection spell, waiting to be unleashed, and crystals shaped like Twilight Sparkle's cutie mark are the secret to unleashing it, our pony heroes set off on another Unity Quest to find the first crystal.
This time, their quest brings them back to Bikini Bottom, where Queen Skygrace has let her hippogriff and seapony subjects live with the Bikini Bottom citizens, while she and her sister live and share duties with King Neptune of the Seven Seas.
But when King Neptune's crown is stolen and Mr. Krabs is framed for the crime, our pony heroes, some sweet new sea-unicorn friends, SpongeBob and Patrick must journey to the forbidden Shell City and get it back.
But will they succeed and save Bikini Bottom? Or will the town burn from the king's fiery wrath?

Aww, this was such a sweet chapter. I especially love Tropic and Arctic’s introduction and can’t wait to see how this all pays off. They have so much potential to be expanded upon and I hope they become mainstays across the G5 Adventures series. I’ve also noticed a significant improvement in your writing too. Keep it up!

Umm I have a question for this story, Don't you think this would regress Plankton's character compared to what happened in story Sponge Out of Water? You see there was a reason why this is the first movie and Sponge Out of Water is the 2nd movie but now it would look like Plankton was made to be sympathetic and he learned a valuable lesson in his first appearance and his satisfying ending but now he regresses into this evil dictator that enslaves like he just drank the stupid juice and at a snap of a finger reboot him into someone worse than Opaline therefore questioning the trust given to him not just by Misty, Zipp, Sunny and the others but all of his actions in the 2nd movie about giving back to formula to Krabs. There was a reason why Plankton got less antagonistic in the original three Spongebob Movies. There has to be a good reason like Opaline posses him or something.

Personally, I don’t think the chronology matters all that much. Because although these movies were made into a trilogy (for now, at least), you could honestly be fooled into thinking they weren’t. Because there’s no continuity between each of the films whatsoever, no references to past events, zilch. Personally, for all intents and purposes, I think we can get away with putting this movie next on the timeline considering how nonexistent the canon is. I mean, the fact that we provided continuity between these two events and Nickelodeon didn’t says a lot. Each of the films appear to be standalone in their own right, so we can take as many creative liberties as we want with forming connections between them. Also, if you remember at the end of Sponge Out of Water, Plankton regresses back to his old ways because of that darned status quo the staff have to maintain, so I think we’re safe on that end from a continuity standpoint.

I have a question, I understand that Patrick Star is not the brightest bulb in the shed and Spongebob is man child who gets distracted easily from time to time but why have Sunny and the rest of the ponies have been reduced to dumb dumbs who quickly got off the Patty Wagon when a carjacker confronted them in the County Line? Sunny and her friends are smarter than this and no one said a word despite Zipp Storm was able to stand up to Mr. Krabs in an earlier scene about Spongebob's Manager Position being offered to Squidward. Sunny and her friends here in this one scene was so much different and out of character from the group who brought back magic to Equestria and even managed to get serious in successfully saving Sparky from Opaline. I also noticed this in Cinematic Adventures where Twilight and her friends have been dumb down for that one scene. Also I was wondering why Artic and Tropic wasn't just left with Mindy or Riverstream since all of this is too dangerous for them and the fact Patrick isn't really a model parent. Also I was wondering why Plankton is evil now and he doesn't address to Squidward or Krabs about the events in the previous movie story. If this is the case with his plan then why didn't he just betrayed Sunny and her friends the last time they were here and Plankton just joined Burgerbeard? He would have a better deal.

Umm but doesn't Sunny have magic and they all outnumber the random carjacker guy? And the way Zipp stands up for her friends, I remember that Hitch is supposed to be a tough guy too when protecting his friends, Especially when he acted like Batman in Operation Glitterbomb of MLP Make Your Mark hehe, The one where Sparky was missing and Misty was trying to catch her? Its kind of funny how Sunny and her friends can stand up to someone like Opaline trapping Sparky but not this guy

To be fair, only three of them really could be considered fighters, and that’s in their normal bodies. And I’d imagine the thug guy wouldn’t fight cleanly.
You know I cant stop coming back to read this story and I'm hoping you do sponge on the run later as I would like to see more of the twins.
Is it wrong that I’m disappointed that no mention is ever given about the time Mr. Krabs nearly drove Plankton to suicide and got away with it?
Wow. This is so cool. The SpongeBob cartoon was my favorite when I was a kid. I had a whole closet with his figures of different sizes, pillows with the image of SpongeBob and even a watch with a dial with his image on it. I guess you could say I was a fan. And now I'm more like Squidward😁 It's a great movie, I watched it for free on 123movies. It brought back a lot of childhood memories.
