Man... I really feel bad for River Swirl and the crap she now has to deal with her Federation falling apart and being the target of ire/blamed by everyone.
And now it looks like she has no other choice but to have Arclight be in power again in any hope of holding it together, even if it could cause some states to break away.

The countdown to Arclight's coup d'etat has begun. On one hoof, I pray that this could somehow save the Federation in some way. On the other... I fear after that, the Federation might rip itself apart into a full blown Civil War.
Whether it be fully against Arclight if he manages to hold whatever support he could get and hold off the xenophobes and 'nationalists'. Or after he is (quickly) deposed by a united front and then everyone starts to argue and eventually start fighting/shooting for the seat(s) to lead the crumbling Federation.
It's nice to see Spike and Rarity talk on what happened in their lives since the Civil War and the war with the Changelings. And now I'm curious as to what happened to the other girls?
We got mentions of Pinkie and Starlight from Spike, the fate on Trixie revealed by Rarity and now Spike will, reluctantly(?), reveal where in the world is Twilight Sparkle?
Even if the relationship between him and Twilight seemed to be strained.
Though I wouldn't be surprised if he, in fact, hasn't heard or seen Twilight in a while and either honestly doesn't know, or outright does not want to know if the relationship is much more damaged than suspected.
