Who knows, maybe the Crystal Heart is actually seaming through him slowly because of that tenuous link with Shining and the fact that he can't use magic at the moment might mean that he is now vulnerable and that it's magic isn't as empyema to his very being, turning him into Shining's bitch also if you are ever interested in commissioning a cover art for your story let me know in a PM, here is a speedpainting video of some of my work.
