Okay going to the new information we got his mother and his grandma was raised in poverty with an abuse Grandpa also I wonder what personality that is dad had he might have got some of his emotional attitude. I'm trying to share my theory.
Part of my theory:
1: his mother has a blue coats
2: his mother has a stylized brownish orange mane that was short and kinda wavy.
No I know this is not enough Parts in my behalf but I believe Skyler might have some mommy issues. Taking me as you can see in part 1 it is mother has a blue coat and the wonderful uniform is blue at the same blue but close enough. Second part is the mother's hairstyle brownish orange with short and wavy like Spitfire hair is wavy like it's red but with orange just replace the brown. Also the suspect doesn't know about this because he's deeply in a illusion of grandeur with deadly tendencies.

yes I don't know why I'm so happy that his mom is on the kill list. Maybe it make the story unless terrifying if you didn't have his mom on the list. This reminds me of a Criminal Minds episode.

It was a great story through and through. I truly enjoyed reading this and the previous case and it always amazes me how wonderful the few FiM detective stories are. I do not know if they are anymore than this and the ones made by PonyJosiah but I felt that the amount of effort, details and plot is truly magnificent. Thank you and good luck with your next case.
Oh and I was wondering if you would make one side story involving Shadow creating a few practice cases to train Comet. You know the cliche 'Who stole Pinkie's cake' sort of story, to teach him a few detective methods.

Well, thank you for the comment. However, if I’m being honest, I’m not to big on the first case. I got a little sloppy toward the end. To me anyway.
I prefer this case over the first one. But, it’s good to know someone enjoys it.
