Great one
Also, Sunny better be saved... Great work, the reading goes on
This one had it's ups and downs for me.
I'm starting to think the story might flow better and faster if it weren't first person and we weren't subject to everyone of Murky's, often repetitious, thoughts. But that's just my thinking.
But there was a lot of good stuff in here, the sneaking, the bit with the robot (when he wasn't doing ponified Liberty Prime lines), Protege, Twilight's little speech.
There was also some stuff I thought was lame, but I've touched upon most of that already and for now I'll just say that there's a lot of coincidences going on and it's starting to make me go HMMMMMMM. But that all remains to be seen if it'll make sense in the future!
This is one of my favorite stories ever, bar none. Great job.
"five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred-"
A fan of rent?
Interesting story so far. Only some minor complaints here and there that have been pointed out as where Murky seems to be stupid just to be punished later on rather than doing the thing anybody would do (ie: when he got the rad-away package and didn't immediately drink it, only to lose it to dirt).
Why do you keep doing this to us? Just have a happy chapter for once, is that too much to ask?
Oh, mister peace you're so hilarious! Hopefully We will see you again!
Anyone else get major feels from that ending?
*Sigh*
Oh, Murky...
At least we had some great times with Mister Peace.
Epic, just... epic
Major feels at the end there. MAJOR!
“BETTER WIPED THAN STRIPED YOU IGNORANT LOUTS!”
Brilliant.
Murky! Whatever you do, don't tell the Doc! He might go feral!
Poor Sundial!
We're a long way
I will remember mister peace for the rest of my days.
I Don't understand. Every time i read this. or any other GREAT. Fallout Equestria book, i feel this odd... sensation. i feel sad. yet happy. excited yet mellow. it's like I Can relate but not at all. it's odd. i feel content i suppose.
Mr Peace best pony robot. I hope he comes back later on.
Knowing these kinda ficks though, he was spared now to be tragically killed off later... please prove me wrong, please, please...
Omg this chapter was a roller-coaster. I was laughing at Mister Peace the securitrion and almost crying at that ending. Thats so sad!
But i must stay strong! I've read Project Horizons twice! (And cried atleast 10 times both times) Onwards and Upwars!
Wait which one of her friends are a drug addict?

Pinkie Pie ended up a drug addict because trying to stay HAPPY all the time ended up being just too hard for her
Though I'm confused as to why you don't know this... Anyone that's read the original Fallout Equestria should know this off the top of their head since Pinkie Pie talking to Littlepip through a memory orb about addiction is a pretty damn powerful moment where you realize Pinkie and Littlepip both struggled with their addictions
So in this chapter Murky is sent to find the Abraxodine Chemical Food Sanitizer from Fallout 3, but instead of getting it from Moira Brown he has to venture into a Ministry of Arcane Science hub that he will surely have to return to in order to rescue Sunny, The Pod Pony, and Mister Peace :/
Also Murk is an absolute idiot to continue thinking withholding information about the Master's atrocities is keeping Sunny and "The Mare" safe. Its fairly certain the Master does not even have "the Mare" at this point and even if he did its obvious from his treatment of Sunny that he is making no effort to keep particular slaves healthy or whole for use as leverage. Its all lies and Murky is being written as stupid enough to believe it.
Oh, Mister Peace, you're hilarious. So is Murky coming up with a different name for the Sanitizer each time he thinks about it.
And for Weathervane, I'm dreading once again the day he finds out...
I think this is the first or second hint about the mint monsters. The first time through, I was wondering what could possibly be so bad that Red Eye would seal the tunnels to keep something out, rather than just keep the slaves in.
Bumblefuck is one of my favorite words.

So I feel like I need to backtrack a bit and make a comment on this chapter. All of the projection orb scenes are exceptional, but Twilight’s is a true standout. This is something I think was missing from the original story, a good look into Twilight’s personal thoughts and fears before the end. We get at least glimpses into the minds of the other Ministry Mares, but Twilight is always strangely distant when she appears. She is either out of focus, ranting, or all business. We get a little hint of her true feelings in Aurora Star’s memory orb, but the projection orb is where she really lets loose.
In FOE, I’ve always found that some of the worst horror is found not in the conditions of the present world, but in the minds of the ponies of the past. Despite all the traumatic events Littlepip experienced from the moment she left the stable, the moment the story first hit me emotionally was Scootaloo’s message to the Stable 24 overstallion. That message revealed how she was living in a nightmare she saw no escape from. So here in this chapter it was a great catharsis to finally get a similar confession straight from Twilight Sparkle herself.
Her message is just heartbreaking. We get a real sense of just how trapped she feels. This shows us one of the biggest horrors of the war for the leaders of Equestria. They knew it was terrible but they couldn’t find anyway out but forward down the dark path that ended in balefire. While one of the great strengths of this story is how well it fits within the canon of the original, the Twilight Sparkle projection orb in particular feels like it actually should have been part of the original. This is one of the moments from this story that has been seared into my memory for good. I’ve found myself revisiting this one over and over again, and no matter how many times I come back to it I can’t make it through with dry eyes.
