Well, now I want a chapter of just Cozy and Sombra interacting without doing anything evil. Seriously, despite the seriousness of the situation I can't help but love reading these two interact.

Some people don't like internal dialog or monologue, but I'm glad you enjoyed it. When they speak to each other, I'm trying to highlight their personality traits as they play off each other in order to further illustrate who they are as a character. Not every action they would agree or disagree with each other. Each has their own personal agendas, too.
By studying Sombra, did you notice how Cozy is learning more about herself? It may seem that she's totally lost control of the situation, or mostly lost control, but this experience is still facilitating internal growth for the character which in important for her further development down the road.
And, thank you, as always, for sharing your thoughts with me.

I think Sombra is showing Cozy just how "bad" of a villain she really was so yes, she does seem to be learning stuff. It also helps that Sombra is such a good teacher.

Yes. "Good" teacher. (snicker)
Cozy with the unintentional or was it? fourth wall break.
Also, que Sombra.

You called it that he was cooking up something.
It's not like I hate this direction, but I feel like this whole thing with Sombra weakens the story. I feel like this is supposed to be a story about Cozy Glow the Shadow Queen, not the Shadow King. Right as we got to the climax of Cozy's story, this dude comes out like a deus ex machina. And this stuff of going to Equestria feels like a filler arc at the eleventh hour. Honestly, I just want to skip this and go back to the drama with Cozy's life, but I know this is basically the end of the story so that's not gonna happen. Not a huge fan.

Fair, and thank you for sharing your opinion. I certainly see the validity in it.
It will return to the Cozy Glow drama very soon. For her, this chapter is really a lesson for her. She saw herself as a villain and used to be proud of that. Now she's seeing another who took that path to a much greater degree. That holds up a dark mirror to her and she did learn from that. All of this is meant to help explain her changes later. Sometimes facing the Dark Night of the Soul becomes a catalyst for positive change later.
